An early stage of skin change, leucoerythema is characterized by a marked change in the color of the erythema, from light pink to bright red. The skin turns white when pressed with fingers, and the redness quickly reappears when the fingers are released. Early stage bedsores are pigmented spots or erosions caused by pressure dermatitis. The outer skin tissue is destroyed, and the blisters crack or are rubbed off, exposing the dermis. The initial stage of ulcer has unclear surface boundaries, shiny bottom, and is often surrounded by non-white erythematous areas. If not treated properly, it may develop into chronic bedsores.

The clinical symptoms of bedsores can be seen as a series of skin movements, with color depth changing from red to white, no tissue damage, and deep damage extending to muscles, joint cartilage and bones. Generally speaking, the wound is accompanied by local inflammation with redness, swelling, heat, and pain. If there are also symptoms of pus and foul odor, it can be considered a sign of local infection, while fever indicates systemic reaction.

The above symptoms also appear in the early stage of bedsores. This is the best time to treat the disease, and patients are reminded to master this. In addition, when treating bedsores, you need to carefully choose a bedsore treatment plan based on your actual condition. You cannot just "blindly follow the trend" to see a doctor, because bedsores have completely different physiological characteristics in different people's bodies, so symptomatic treatment is required.
