Which department should women go to for HPV test

Germs are everywhere, and the same is true for viral infections. There are many viral infections that women should always guard against, and HPV virus is one of them. Because there are two types of HPV viruses, divided into low-risk virus infection and high-risk virus infection, if you are invaded by HPV virus for a long time, it is very easy to cause cervical cancer. Once cervical cancer occurs, the possibility of recovery is not great. So which department should women go to for HPV examination?

When women check for HPV, they need to make an appointment with a gynecologist. However, there are certain standard regulations for HPV testing. They cannot have sex within 3 days, cannot apply vaginal medication within 3 days, and cannot perform vaginal cleaning within 3 days to avoid affecting the HPV test results. Because the HPV test is to collect liquid-based cells from the cervical canal, if you have sex or clean it, it will affect the interpretation of the results. There may be bleeding after the examination, which will stop within 3 days. You can take some sanitary napkins during the examination to avoid contamination of underwear. You are not allowed to have sex within one week after the test, and you can receive corresponding treatment based on the test results.

Women must prevent cervical cancer

1. Do not use items from public places. Due to women's unique physiological structure, there are many germs in public toilets. Women are more susceptible to these viruses and bacteria than men. Therefore, try not to use daily necessities in public places to avoid infection.

2. Wash your hands frequently. Developing the habit of washing your hands frequently is also helpful in preventing HPV virus. Most HPV viruses can be washed away by hand sanitizer, so washing hands before and after going to the toilet is a good habit.

3. Physical exercise. Exercise is the foundation of life. Regular exercise has a very good effect in preventing infectious diseases. Women can use exercise to improve their physical fitness, and maintaining a stable mood in daily life can also achieve twice the result with half the effort.

4. Health protection: Remove viruses and bacteria around you. Health protection is the best way. Do not share items with others to avoid cross infection.
