What causes bloody discharge?

Postmenopausal uterine and ovarian malignant tumors: Uterine and ovarian tumors are common tumors of the female reproductive system. Uterine and ovarian malignant tumors are one of the three major malignant tumors of the female reproductive system, and ovarian cancer is a tumor with a very high cause of death. The uterus and ovaries are located in the shallow layer of the pelvis and are not easy to be palpated or detected. Their tissues are complex, so it is not easy to detect their tumors in the early stages. So far, there is still a lack of effective diagnostic methods for malignant tumors of the uterus and ovaries.

Malignant tumors in the vagina: Malignant tumors in the vagina are often secondary and can spread directly from cervical cancer, or originate from endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and choriocarcinoma. In addition, bladder, urethral or rectal cancer can often migrate to the vagina. Primary vaginal malignancies are rare, accounting for approximately 1% of malignant tumors of the female and male reproductive organs. The main types are squamous cell carcinoma and chloasma carcinoma. Others such as adenocarcinoma, sarcoma and malignant melanoma are even rarer. Many obstetricians and gynecologists have only seen a few patients in their clinical practice. Because secondary cancer in the vagina is more common, the possibility of secondary vaginal cancer should be considered and ruled out before diagnosing the primary tumor.

Recurrent uterine and ovarian malignant tumors: The incidence of ovarian cancer ranks third among gynecological tumors, but its mortality rate ranks first. Because ovarian epithelial carcinoma is already in the advanced stage when diagnosed, standardized treatment, namely ideal tumor cytoreduction surgery and combined radiotherapy with platinum or paclitaxel, has greatly improved the prognosis of some ovarian cancer patients.

If the leucorrhea is abnormal, contains blood or is stubborn, colposcopy can assist in the diagnosis.

How to reduce pink vaginal discharge

Prevention of pink vaginal discharge

Pink vaginal discharge is common in vaginitis and vaginal cancer.

Prevention of vaginitis: From the perspective of daily life, to prevent vaginitis, you should pay attention to the following: avoid wearing tight or close-fitting trousers such as jeans, etc. In summer, it is better to wear skirts or loose trousers. In addition, avoid wearing tight polyester underwear, and choose pure cotton underwear. In order to reduce irritation or allergies, you should use fragrance-free daily necessities and avoid using sanitary napkins or toilet paper with air fresheners. In addition, you should not use various medicines to clean the vagina, as doing so will destroy the extracellular fluid in the vagina and cause vaginitis. Some female friends are worried that their secretions will stain their underwear or they don’t want to clean their underwear, so they always use sanitary pads. This practice is not advisable. If you are not on your menstrual period, try not to use sanitary pads. You can wash your private parts with cold water and change your underwear every night.
