What causes vaginal burning sensation

The female vagina is the "portal" of the female reproductive organs. Vaginal burning sensation will not only cause problems for women's eating, dressing, housing, transportation, and learning, but will also continue to threaten women's reproductive health. So, what causes vaginal burning? Let me explain it in detail below.

The causes of vulvar burning sensation include:

1. Fungal vaginitis:

The obvious symptoms of this disease are increased leucorrhea and itching in private parts and vagina. When the symptoms are severe, the patient may feel restless, painful, and abnormal, and may also experience frequent urination, incomplete urination, painful urination, and pain during sexual intercourse. The secretion is milky white and thick like soybean milk residue. The vaginal mucosa is severely edematous, with milky white flakes and small pieces of plastic film attached, which are easy to fall off. Underneath is erosive basal fluid that damages the mucosa or causes shallow ulcers. In severe cases, ecchymosis may be left behind, which is a typical symptom of this disease.

2. Nonspecific vaginitis:

There is a feeling of falling and burning in the private parts of the female vagina, many squamous epithelial cells in the female vagina fall down, the vaginal mucosa is abscessed, and there is obvious dull pain. In severe cases, patients may experience general fatigue, lower abdominal discomfort, excessive leucorrhea that is pus-like or serous, and secretions that irritate the urethra, causing frequent urination, incomplete urination, and painful urination.

3. Trichomonas vaginitis:

The vaginal discharge increases and is yellow-white, occasionally with light green pus, often with plastic foam, and has a fishy smell. In severe cases, it is mixed with blood; followed by low back pain, frequent urination, incomplete urination, painful urination, burning sensation in private parts, and dull pain in the lower abdomen. The vaginal mucosa swells, with scattered blood spots or strawberry-like protrusions, which sometimes cause pain during sexual intercourse for couples.

After establishing the diagnostic examination for private burning pain, how to treat private burning pain?

A professor and doctor from the Hangzhou Red House Gynecological Hospital said that if vulva itching occurs, you should first pay attention to the cleaning of the private parts, and do not use soap to clean the vulva; try to avoid scratching and rubbing the affected area; avoid irritating foods in the diet; and pay attention to avoiding psychological depression and anxiety. If the symptoms still cannot be relieved, you should go to the hospital outpatient clinic to find out the cause of the itching and treat it accordingly.
