Causes of delayed follicular development

Causes of delayed follicular development

The growth rate and level of the egg are normal. If they are within the normal range, you should choose the definition of ovulation. Under the premise of regular menstruation, ovulation usually occurs 14 days before the next menstruation. The lifespan of a perfect egg is estimated to be 24±6 hours. The fertilization ability of the egg is strongest within 12 hours after ovulation, and the fertilization ability is still within 15 to 18 hours. After normal ejaculation, sperm can survive in the uterus for 2-3 days, but its reproductive ability only lasts for 1-2 days, and sperm that does not enter the uterine cavity can survive in the female vagina for no more than 24 hours. Therefore, insemination should be done within 24 hours after ovulation.

1. Poor uterine development refers to the development of follicles in the late oocyte stage, the oocyte development cannot reach the size of mature follicles, the function is poor, the secretion of estrogen is insufficient, and the cervical score in clinical examination cannot reach the required low value. Poor uterine development may be due to the pituitary ovulation period, which may be caused by human organ factors or glandular duct function factors.

2. The delayed growth and development of the egg may also be due to the failure of the uterus and ovaries to ovulate. In this case, the patient may be suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome, simple sex hormone dysplasia syndrome, incomplete sex hormone action, premature ovarian failure, and progesterone-induced unbroken egg syndrome.

3. Slow egg development may also be due to hypothalamic-pituitary anovulation, which may be caused by primary organ factors, primary functional factors, secondary organ damage, and secondary functional factors. There are many reasons for the slow development of eggs. Patients must identify the cause of their own disease before they can receive symptomatic treatment and better treatment.

The uterus is abnormally developed, the egg cells cannot grow and develop normally, the quality of ovulation is poor, and normal pregnancy is affected. Even if the sperm and egg fuse together, it is very easy to cause miscarriage, stillbirth, etc. Therefore, women with follicular dysplasia should be given high attention. You should go to a regular hospital for regular check-up and treatment in time. If the uterus is not developing well, regular check-ups and active treatment are necessary. Abnormal egg cell shedding or low quality of eggs released will affect normal pregnancy and fertility, thus leading to infertility. It is important to handle it promptly and check it regularly and handle it properly.
