Is pigmentation a spot?

Melanin deposition refers to endocrine imbalance in women of childbearing age. With the increase of age, their menstrual period every month causes long-term loss of blood and qi; the changes in the air environment are unpredictable, and the heat and cold wind and rheumatism can easily damage the kidneys by dampness and cold; when women are pregnant, they do rough labor, work hard, get angry and sad, and their vital energy is severely damaged. Is pigmentation a spot?

White spots are a common facial brown or melanin deposition, degradable skin disease caused by increased skin pigmentation. They are mostly found on the cheeks and forehead and are aggravated by wind and sun exposure.

Pigmentation is the change of melanin in the human skin due to various reasons, which causes the skin to show different tones, different ranges and different shades. The cause of pigmentation is generally due to the stimulation of the sun, ultraviolet radiation, cosmetics, drugs and other substances, which produce dark skin pigmentation. Some of it falls off along with the stratum corneum, while some of it settles in the bottom layer and is discharged from the body through the blood circulation system. Once the above effects are out of balance, pigmentation occurs. Genus

Therefore, pigmentation and spots are related, but they cannot be simply regarded as the same thing.

Causes of pigmentation:

UV exposure

Ultraviolet radiation in the sun is the key cause of pigmentation, which is why sunscreen is needed in the summer. When the skin receives too much sunlight, the epidermis will produce a large amount of melanin particles, which can absorb ultraviolet rays and protect the body from damage. This is the reason why everyone's skin becomes darker after sun exposure. In addition, direct exposure to ultraviolet light can cause chloasma, which generally makes freckles darker in color.

Endocrine causes

Endocrine imbalance is also a major cause of pigmentation in women. Changes in estrogen levels in the body during menstruation and pregnancy can affect the formation of pigmentation. In addition, endocrine instability generally causes temper tantrums, which can also indirectly cause the formation of pigmentation (in traditional Chinese medicine, the formation of melasma is mainly attributed to liver stasis, which is very complicated).

Lifestyle issues

Poor lifestyles such as work pressure, picky eating, and lack of rest can also increase pigmentation. Therefore, people with unstable sleep schedules have poor basal metabolic rate of the skin, which will affect the formation of melanin deposition.
