Is it easy to have a miscarriage during the 4th to 5th month of pregnancy?

As we all know, early pregnancy is a relatively risky period. Because in the third month of pregnancy, the embryo formed by the combination of sperm and egg is not yet implanted stably, and the connection with the uterus is not close. If the pregnant mother has any abnormal phenomenon at this time, or there is external stimulation, it is easy to have threatened abortion. In daily life, many women experience fetal arrest after 40 to 50 days of pregnancy, but after the early pregnancy, the chance of fetal arrest is not so high. So, will the fetus stop growing during the 4th or 5th month of pregnancy?

Will the fetus stop growing during the 4th to 5th month of pregnancy?

Generally, embryonic arrest is more likely to occur in early pregnancy. The incidence of test tube embryos stopping growth and development after the third month of pregnancy has been greatly reduced. It does not mean that it is not easy for the embryo to stop developing after the middle stage of natural pregnancy. If there is an adverse effect during pregnancy (the most common is fetal intrauterine hypoxia), it can also cause fetal growth retardation in the 4th to 5th month of pregnancy.

When the placenta function is obstructed, the umbilical cord is around the neck, the pregnant woman does not take medicine properly, or encounters adverse external stimulation, abnormal fetal movement may occur. If the fetal movement is less than 3 times within 1 hour, or less than 10 times within 12 hours, it indicates that the fetus is at risk of intrauterine hypoxia and should go to the hospital for examination and proper treatment.

The fetus will stop growing in the 4th or 5th month of pregnancy. Once the fetal growth retardation occurs, many bad signs will appear immediately, especially causing gynecological diseases in some women. Fetal growth retardation is a condition of spontaneous abortion, but the fetus in the uterus will not be expelled from the outside of the uterus by itself.

If the fetus stops growing: first, the early pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting will no longer occur, and the feeling of breast swelling will also gradually weaken. There is also vaginal bleeding afterwards, often with dark red bloody leucorrhea. Eventually, you may experience lower abdominal distension and pain, and the test tube embryo may be expelled. The above symptoms vary from person to person. Some people may not even have any symptoms, but may experience abdominal pain immediately, followed by miscarriage, or the embryo may stop developing and then be discovered through basic B-ultrasound examination without any symptoms.
