Early symptoms of pregnancy-induced hypertension

Pregnancy-induced hypertension is a very common pregnancy disease, which is very important for women. It will not only affect their own health, but also the baby. It often occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy, with high blood pressure and proteinuria as the main symptoms, and may be accompanied by damage or function decline of multiple organs in the body. Moreover, the occurrence of this kind of disease will also have a serious impact on the development of the baby in the belly, so it is necessary to understand the symptoms of this kind of disease and deal with it in time and seek immediate treatment. So what are the early symptoms of hypertension during pregnancy?

Hypertension during pregnancy

1. Mild pregnancy hypertension

The specific manifestations are a slight increase in blood pressure, which may be accompanied by mild edema and trace proteinuria. The pregnant mother had no significant discomfort. This stage can last from a few days to a few weeks and can develop slowly or rapidly.

Edema can be a dominant gene or it can be latent. Dominant edema can be divided into Ⅰ°~Ⅲ° according to its severity; if it is latent edema, it is only manifested in an abnormal increase in weight (that is, the pregnant mother gains more than 0.5Kg per week).

2. Mild to moderate pregnancy-induced hypertension

Mild to moderate gestational hypertension develops on the basis of mild hypertension. The levels of blood pressure, proteinuria and edema are higher than mild ones, but the pregnant mother still does not feel abnormal at this time.

Blood pressure rises further, but does not exceed 21.3/14.7KPa (160/110mmHg), proteinuria increases, accompanied by edema, and there will be mild active symptoms such as dizziness.

3. Moderate to severe pregnancy-induced hypertension

Moderate to severe gestational hypertension is a more serious stage, with blood pressure rising ≥21.3/14.6 kPa, proteinuria ~, the degree of edema in pregnant women can be mild or frequent, and in severe cases there may be ascites. In addition, pregnant women feel dizzy, headache, blurred vision, pain in the upper right abdomen, difficulty breathing, panic, chest tightness and shortness of breath, nausea and vomiting. If medical treatment is not obtained promptly, the pregnant mother may experience convulsions, accompanied by coma and loss of consciousness. Tics can recur and may result in bites of the lips, tongue, falls, or even fractures. This kind of thing can happen before delivery, during delivery, and after giving birth. It is very harmful to maternal and infant products, and in severe cases it can seriously endanger the lives of maternal and infant products.
