What is the cause of lumbar sacral pain in women

Symptoms of lumbar pain in women are mainly caused by lumbar muscle strain, which can cause soreness in the lumbar spine, enlarge the uterus after pregnancy, and increase pressure on the lumbar spine. Therefore, women with lumbar pain should pay attention to rest more. Gynecological diseases can also cause lumbar pain and need to be treated immediately.

First of all, women have poor adaptability to lumbar and sacral movements, which can easily lead to strain and pain. In addition, the uterus of many women will increase after pregnancy, which will cause the lumbar spine to bend forward, losing the normal physiological center of gravity balance. The muscles, fascia and ligaments of the waist will be in a tense state, which can easily lead to chronic strain. All of these will cause pain in the lumbar and sacral regions.

In addition to the above factors, many women suffer from gynecological diseases, which requires more attention. Let's see which gynecological diseases can cause lumbar pain in women:

One is genital inflammation. Patients of this type will experience back pain when they are overworked, before or after menstruation, or after sexual intercourse. Some may also have lower abdominal discomfort or bloating.

The second is abnormal position of the uterus. When a woman suffers from uterine abnormalities, adhesions of the uterus will cause pain. For example, if a woman has frequent abortions, multiple births, or other uterine surgeries, it may cause the uterus to sag, prolapse, or high adhesions in the abdominal cavity. This may pull the ligaments and cause low back pain.

The third is that the IUD is abnormal. Many women do not normally experience lumbar and sacral pain, but experience this phenomenon after having an IUD inserted. Most of these are caused by the IUD, such as the IUD model not matching the uterine cavity, the IUD being too elastic, or the IUD being abnormally positioned. These can reflexively cause lumbosacral pain. In this case, it is recommended to remove the ring, put it on again or choose other contraceptive methods.

Fourth, some pelvic tumors can also cause women to experience lumbar pain. The most common one is uterine fibroids, and there are also other diseases such as cervical cancer and ovarian tumors. There may be no obvious symptoms in the early stages, but when the tumor compresses the nerves or cancer cells invade the connective tissue of the pelvis, it can cause low back pain.

Fifth, some urinary system problems, such as urinary tract infection in women, or diseases such as urinary stones, may cause lumbar pain.

It can be seen that there are many reasons why women experience lumbar pain. Therefore, once this symptom occurs, female friends must pay attention to it and check it in time to rule out the possibility of some diseases. At the same time, in order to relieve discomfort, it is recommended that female friends must pay attention to the combination of work and rest and avoid excessive fatigue.
