How long does it take for the body temperature to rise during pregnancy?

When a woman is pregnant, she will have some early pregnancy reactions to a certain extent, most of which appear one month after pregnancy. Due to different physical conditions, the reaction may be more serious, and family members should pay special attention to them at this time. Due to hormonal changes after pregnancy, some pregnant women will experience increased body temperature. So, how long does it take for body temperature to rise during pregnancy? I hope everyone has a correct understanding of this issue.

During a woman's pregnancy (usually 3-4 weeks), her body temperature may remain slightly elevated. If the menstrual cycle has always been regular, but this time the menstruation is not on time, and the basal body temperature remains above 37 degrees for more than three weeks, then after excluding other fever conditions, early pregnancy can be considered. A woman's body temperature remains stable after pregnancy. If the body temperature changes, it will be maintained within the range of 36.9℃--37.2℃. If your body temperature fluctuates, it may be a sign of corpus luteum deficiency. Insufficient corpus luteum can easily lead to miscarriage or infertility. When there is a large change in body temperature, it should be taken seriously. For pregnant women who have experienced miscarriage, they should go to the hospital for examination in time and take appropriate measures.

What are the symptoms of early pregnancy

The first is amenorrhea: amenorrhea is the earliest and most important "signal" in early pregnancy. For married women of childbearing age who have always had normal menstrual cycles, if their menstruation is delayed for more than 10 days, they should consider the possibility of pregnancy. If their menstruation is amenorrhea for more than 2 weeks, they need to go to the hospital to check the cause.

The second is early pregnancy reaction: most women may experience dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, increased salivation, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting after 6 weeks of pregnancy. Vomiting often occurs in the early morning or on an empty stomach. Some pregnant women particularly like to eat acidic and cold foods. Most of them disappear on their own around 12 weeks after pregnancy. For a few people, early pregnancy reactions are more severe and last longer.

Third, increased urination frequency: After 8 weeks of pregnancy, you may experience increased urination frequency. This is caused by the enlarged uterus compressing and irritating the bladder.

Fourth, breast changes: After pregnancy, under the joint stimulation of estrogen and progesterone, from the 8th week, the breasts gradually grow larger, the color of the nipples and areola deepens, and dark brown nodules appear around the nipples. After 12 weeks, a small amount of clear milk will be secreted.

Fifth, changes in basal body temperature: Women who measure their basal body temperature can use this to know if they are pregnant in the early stages. A woman's normal basal body temperature presents a bidirectional curve, that is, it is lower before ovulation and rises after ovulation. If there is no menstruation due, the body temperature will not drop after rising and will remain for more than 18 days, which indicates pregnancy.
