1. Quadrivalent vaccine: This vaccine can prevent many viruses such as HPV types 6, 11, 16 and 18, which are an important factor in cervical cancer. Because there are many types of viruses, the vaccine can prevent more than half of the risk of cervical cancer, and it is also very effective in preventing vaginal cancer, vulvar cancer and genital warts.

2. Nine-valent vaccine: It can mainly prevent nine types of HPV viruses, namely 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52 and 58, which means it can prevent more types of viruses. It is more effective in preventing vulvar precancerous lesions, vaginal precancerous lesions, and even anal cancer, vaginal cancer, and genital warts, especially cervical cancer, and it can prevent more viruses. The nine-valent vaccine is clinically suitable for women aged 16-26 years old. Vaccination is not allowed during breastfeeding and pregnancy, whether it is the nine-valent or quadrivalent vaccine. In addition, both the quadrivalent vaccine and the nine-valent vaccine may cause local pain and mild dizziness after vaccination, which generally return to normal in 1-2 days.

It is not difficult to see that the difference between the quadrivalent vaccine and the nonavalent vaccine is that the nonavalent vaccine covers more viruses on the basis of the quadrivalent vaccine. After all, there are many factors that cause cervical cancer, and the wider the coverage, the better the prevention effect. Today, the nine-valent vaccine is the most powerful vaccine, and it is more effective for women aged 9 to 26, especially when administered before they have sexual intercourse.
