The consequences of breastfeeding while pregnant

The consequences of breastfeeding while pregnant

During the pregnancy process, pregnant women certainly have many things to pay attention to, so as to ensure the healthy development and growth of the baby in the belly, because any carelessness can easily cause embryonic arrest. With the gradual relaxation of the second-child policy in modern society, many couples choose to have a second child, which has led to many women accidentally getting pregnant while breastfeeding. So what are the consequences of breastfeeding while pregnant?

1 Can I continue breastfeeding when I am pregnant?

Although there is still milk in the early stages of pregnancy, it is still recommended to stop breastfeeding to avoid affecting the health of both babies.

First of all, it may cause malnutrition in Dabao.

During the lactation period after pregnancy, the milk supply will gradually decrease, and the fetus in the womb needs more nutrition from the mother. The nutritional content of breast milk will also decrease, which can easily cause malnutrition in the baby.

Secondly, it will also affect fetal development.

If you plan to give birth to the baby in your belly, continuing to breastfeed can easily lead to fetal malnutrition. Especially in the second trimester, the fetus grows faster and requires more nutrition. If the nutrition cannot keep up, not only will the mother become weak, but the fetus will also be fragile.

Again, both babies are absorbing nutrition from the mother, which also has an impact on the mother's physical health.

2 Contraceptive measures during breastfeeding

Male Condoms

It can not only block sperm from entering the female reproductive tract to achieve a contraceptive effect, but also effectively prevent the infection and spread of bacteria, fungi, Trichomonas, protozoa, gonorrhea and viruses, which is especially important for preventing sexually transmitted diseases.

External contraceptive (spermicide) nonoxynol ether

It is a surfactant that can interact with the protein membrane of sperm cells, change the permeability of spermatogonia, and thus kill sperm to achieve the purpose of contraception.

External contraceptives do not affect the sexual pleasure of both parties, do not affect endocrine and menstruation, and do not inhibit milk secretion.

Commonly used ones include nonoxynol ether film, nonoxynol ether vaginal tablets, nonoxynol ether contraceptive suppositories and nonoxynol jelly.

The contraceptive effectiveness of topical contraceptives is 94%-97%.

Sterilization surgery

It is a permanent method of sterilization. It involves a minor surgical procedure to tie the vas deferens or fallopian tubes to block sperm from entering the semen or to prevent the egg from passing through the fallopian tube to meet the sperm.

This method has no effect on male sexual function, female menstruation and sexual life.

However, it is not suitable for lactating women with severe neurosis, sexual diseases or reproductive system inflammation. The failure rate of this method of sterilization is less than 10%.
