How do girls get pregnant?

If a girl wants to get pregnant, she must have an increased sex life and ensure that both men and women are in good health. If a girl wants to get pregnant quickly, it is best to have sex during the ovulation period. At this time, the woman will release an egg, and the sperm will enter the vagina and combine with the egg in the fallopian tube to form a fertilized egg. After the fertilized egg successfully implants, the woman can check for symptoms of pregnancy.

1. What is the principle of pregnancy? Why is it said that getting pregnant is a probabilistic event?

1. The ovaries release eggs into the abdominal cavity. Although the ovaries are very close to the end of the fallopian tubes, sometimes the eggs do not enter the fallopian tubes and get "lost" in the abdominal cavity. The egg can only survive for about 24 hours; if it is not fertilized during this time it will die. The dead egg will be transported to the uterus and excreted during menstruation.

2. After sexual intercourse, the husband will ejaculate about 200 million sperm into the vagina. The chemical properties of the sperm guide them to swim to the cervix, through the uterus, and to combine with the egg in the fallopian tube. In order to increase the possibility of combining with the egg, there are hundreds of millions of sperm in the semen, but only one will combine with the egg. If semen escapes the vagina, millions of sperm may be lost, millions may simply reach the cervix, and millions more may stray into the other fallopian tube. Only a few thousand sperm enter the fallopian tube on the side where the ovulation occurs and begin their fertilization journey, but only about 200 (1/1,000,000 of the initial sperm) are able to meet and surround the egg, and eventually one of them succeeds in breaking through the egg's outer layer and fertilizing it.

Immediately after fertilization, the outer layer of the egg undergoes chemical changes, creating a barrier to block other sperm and thus protect the genetic information of the future baby. The entire process described above usually takes 1 hour, but there may be exceptions.

2. Is it a problem if you don’t get pregnant after having sex for a long time?

If you have been trying to get pregnant for more than three months without success, you should reflect on your lifestyle and eating habits, think about whether you smoke or drink, how much pressure you face at work, or the pressure your financial situation brings you. You should consider whether your failure to get pregnant is due to some of the above reasons.

You should see your doctor to discuss factors that may be affecting your ability to conceive. He will reassure you by telling you that it is normal not to conceive right away and that healthy couples may take up to a year to get pregnant.

If you have been trying to get pregnant for at least a year without success, your doctor may suspect that you have infertility. This is because there are many other factors besides purely natural reasons that may affect your chances of getting pregnant.
