A woman has a dull pain on the left side of her lower abdomen

The lower abdomen is relatively important for women because many internal organs, such as the uterus, are located here. If there are some symptoms in the lower abdomen, such as dull pain in the left side of the lower abdomen, female friends should pay attention to it, because it may mean that the patient has gynecological malignant tumors, chronic genital inflammation or acute enteritis. Here are some reasons why women have lower abdominal pain!

1. Tumor pain

When gynecological malignancies progress to the late stage, unbearable and intractable pain may occur. Dull pain in the left lower abdomen is often accompanied by pain in the lumbar region, and the pain often radiates to the lower limbs.

2. Chronic inflammation of genitals

Women suffer from long-term lumbar and sacral pain and lower abdominal pain, which worsens after sex and during the menstrual cycle. It is often accompanied by increased leucorrhea, which is mostly caused by chronic cervicitis. If you experience long-term lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbar pain that worsens after fatigue, sex, or before and after the menstrual cycle, and are often accompanied by menstrual cycle disorders and fatigue, it is mostly caused by chronic pelvic inflammation.

3. Dysmenorrhea

There are two types of dysmenorrhea: primary and secondary. Primary pain often occurs in adolescent girls for unclear reasons. It usually heals itself as you age or after getting married and having children. Common causes of secondary pain are endometriosis and adenomyosis.

4. Acute enteritis

If you have cramping pain in your lower abdomen, accompanied by dizziness, bloating, persistent diarrhea or constipation, it may be acute enteritis, in which large intestine dysfunction causes extreme sensitivity of the nerves and muscles. 20% of the population suffers from sensitive bowel syndrome, 65% of whom are women. Bathing can effectively relieve pain, dizziness, bloating, persistent diarrhea or constipation. In this case, it is recommended to see a doctor who specializes in digestive problems for a comprehensive checkup.

5. Interstitial cystitis

If you have pain in the middle of your lower abdomen and have discomfort and frequent urination, you may have interstitial cystitis, an inflammation of your urinary tract that causes your bladder to swell. There may be lesions in the inner wall of a woman's bladder, which stimulates the central nervous system in the brain to produce a urination response. Pain near the pubic bone that worsens when you try to urinate. Frequent urination (at least once an hour during the day and many times at night), and sharp pain during intercourse.
