Is it okay for girls to wipe with paper after peeing?

Female friends now know that they need to pay attention to the cleanliness of their urethra. Because the female urethra is shorter than the male urethra opening, it will be more prone to bacterial infection. Therefore, we should pay more attention to hygiene in daily life. Every time we urinate, we should wipe it with a tissue to avoid the urine remaining in the urethra opening and causing bacteria.

1. Drink plenty of water

Make use of the cooling and diuretic effects of water to flush out parasitic bacteria in the urethra and eliminate the risk of infection.

2. Take a bath and change underwear frequently

It is advisable to wear cotton underwear that is breathable and has strong moisture absorption.

3. Wash the vulva and anus frequently with water and pay attention to hygiene

When cleaning, wash the vulva first and then the anus, and then urinate. In this way, the bacteria brought in during the cleaning process can be flushed out of the body by urine. You can also do daily checks: first observe the vaginal discharge and then smell the discharge, menstrual blood or the odor of the vulva and it should feel smooth and soft.

urination

The amount of urine excreted by a normal person per day and night is between 1000 and 2000 ml, generally around 1500 ml. Under abnormal circumstances, the amount of urine produced each day and night may increase or decrease significantly, or even become anuric. When the daily urine volume remains above 2500ml for a long time, it is called polyuria. If the urine output is between 100 and 500 ml per day and night, it is called oliguria. If the daily urine volume is less than 100 ml, it can be called anuria. If the urine volume is too much, the body will lose too much, resulting in dehydration. If the urine volume is too little, the metabolic waste products will accumulate in the body, causing adverse effects on the body; the consequences of anuria are even more serious.

The specific gravity of urine varies with the amount of urine, generally ranging from 1.015 to 1.025, with the maximum range being 1.001 to 1.035.

All parts of the nephron are involved in urine production. Through glomerular filtration, the liquid components in the plasma and substances that can pass through the glomerular capillaries are filtered out into the glomerular capsule cavity. The filtrate in the glomerular capsule cavity is called primary urine. When the primary urine passes through the renal tubules and collecting ducts, the renal tubules can absorb certain substances in the primary urine into the blood (reabsorption) or excrete certain substances in the blood into the renal tubules (excretion or secretion). Therefore, when the renal tubular fluid leaves the collecting ducts, its composition has changed greatly. This fluid that leaves the collecting ducts and enters the renal pelvis is called final urine.

color

Normal urine is generally light yellow or colorless, but when there is a problem with the human urinary organs or other systems, the urine can appear in different colors.

For pathological urine, red urine is very common and there are many causes. Hematuria is one of the most common causes. Injury or bleeding in any part of the urinary tract can cause hematuria, such as acute nephritis, urinary tract stones, tuberculosis, tumors, congenital malformations of the urinary system, or exercise-induced hematuria. In addition, systemic diseases such as blood diseases and certain infectious diseases can often cause hematuria. When muscles are severely squeezed, myoglobin enters the blood and is excreted through the kidneys, and the urine may also turn dark red.
