A positive Ureaplasma urealyticum test result in women is an abnormal manifestation that will only be discovered after a physical examination. There will be no obvious symptoms at the beginning. As the disease worsens, the symptoms will begin to worsen and may even affect normal life. Each urination will become very difficult and will always be accompanied by pain and urgency, as well as a burning sensation. These are all very typical symptoms. Mycoplasma is a type of prokaryotic organism that is smaller than bacteria and larger than viruses. It is widely distributed in nature, including some animals and humans. So far, several types of mycoplasma have been isolated from the human body and are related to the reproductive tract. The main one that can cause reproductive tract diseases is ureaplasma, and the main transmission routes are sexual contact and mother-to-child transmission. Even if the urethral test shows positive for mycoplasma or chlamydia, not all of them are patients: epidemiological surveys have shown that ureaplasma urealyticum can be isolated from 34% of normal men. After the urogenital tract is infected with mycoplasma, the disease caused is non-gonococcal urethritis in men and non-gonococcal urogenital tract inflammation in women. Male symptoms include urethral itching, burning sensation and difficulty urinating, and a few have frequent urination. The urethral opening is slightly red and swollen, the secretions are thin, and some patients are asymptomatic. Female symptoms include increased vaginal discharge, urethral burning, or pelvic inflammatory disease, salpingitis, etc., which may lead to infertility, miscarriage, and ectopic pregnancy. In some foreign studies, Chlamydia trachomatis was isolated from 11% of asymptomatic soldiers, 11% of asymptomatic men in urban emergency departments, and 7% of asymptomatic college students. The Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infection rate among pregnant women in rural populations in the United States is 9.0%; the CT infection rate among low-income pregnant women in Mexico is 10.1%; the CT infection rate among pregnant women in Vestsjaelland, Denmark is 2.9%; the CT infection rate among pregnant women in Sao Paulo, Brazil is 9%; and the CT infection rate among pregnant women in Martinique, France is 26.7%. The CT infection rate among pregnant women varies around the world // This may be related to different detection reagents, methods, and times in different places. Mycoplasma is related to sexually transmitted diseases such as non-gonococcal urethritis and epididymitis, and is also related to reproductive and urinary system diseases such as prostatitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. Therefore, many hospitals have carried out testing and treatment for mycoplasma. With the improvement of inspection technology, the sensitivity of inspection methods has also increased, and the positive detection rate of mycoplasma has increased accordingly. |
