What do you need to prepare for hospitalization?

The most important thing for female friends who give birth naturally during hospitalization is to adjust their life and emotions, keep their emotions relatively stable and optimistic, and get out of bed and walk around appropriately. This is also very critical. If you don't do enough exercise, your muscles will not have any strength during delivery, and you will not be able to support yourself to complete a natural birth. You also need to consume some nutritious food appropriately.

1. How to increase the chance of a normal birth. Pregnant mothers can do appropriate exercise before giving birth, which can increase the elasticity of the pelvic cavity and birth canal muscles. At the same time, it can also relieve pain during delivery, shorten the duration of labor, reduce the chance of bleeding and tearing in the birth canal, and help with normal delivery.

2. You should adjust your mentality before giving birth. When you enter the delivery room, you may hear the screams of other women in labor. Pregnant mothers should never be frightened by other people's screams. They should actively adjust their mentality, relax, and try to choose natural birth if possible.

3. Eat properly before and after normal delivery and control your weight. Before giving birth naturally, the mother should pay attention to nutrition and also control her weight. It is recommended to eat more nutritious food after a normal delivery, but choose easily digestible, non-fried food. It is best to start with liquid food (such as porridge, noodles, and congee) first.

4. Avoid wind after normal delivery. Because the bone joints of mothers who give birth naturally are all open, they will catch a cold if exposed to cold wind, which will cause joint pain and may even lead to lifelong diseases that are difficult to recover from.

5. Get out of bed and exercise as soon as possible after normal delivery. After a normal birth, you should get up and exercise as soon as possible. Although a normal birth will consume energy and physical strength during the process, you should not stay in bed to rest all the time. Like mothers in the past, some even ask their family for help with eating and drinking. This is actually not a good thing. Getting out of bed early after delivery is very beneficial for postpartum recovery and can also help maintain your body shape.

Wall Slide:

Stand with your back against a wall, feet shoulder-width apart, and slowly slide down the wall until you are in a sitting position. Hold this seated position for a few seconds, then slide up to standing. Repeat this action 10 times. This action helps open the pelvic opening to give the fetus more room to enter the birth canal.

To reduce the pressure on your knees, you can put a small ball on your back to reduce the resistance during sliding. You can also do this without leaning against a wall, still keeping your back straight and your feet shoulder-width apart.

Sitting cross-legged with feet facing each other:

Keep your back straight, put your feet together, pull your heels inward, and slowly lower your knees. This can stretch the thigh and pelvic muscles, while improving the posture during delivery, maintaining pelvic flexibility, and enhancing blood circulation in the lower body.

If this pose is difficult to achieve, you can lean against a wall to support your back, or place a cushion under your thighs, but remember to keep your back straight.
