Pregnant women's urine test pH value to determine the gender

After a woman enters pregnancy, she needs to do many kinds of pregnancy tests. These pregnancy tests are mainly to ensure that the fetus can grow healthily in the female body. They can also observe what nutrients the fetus needs during the growth process. Blood tests and urine tests are indispensable items in every pregnancy test. Some people will judge the gender of the fetus in the belly based on the pH value of the female drug test. So can the pH value of the pregnant woman's urine test tell the gender?

The acidity and alkalinity of the environment in the early stages of pregnancy can indeed determine the gender of the baby. This has a scientific basis, but it is only the acidity and alkalinity at the time of fertilization. You can't tell after you're pregnant. When pregnant women have a urine test, their urine sugar level may also be tested.

The acidity and alkalinity of the environment in the early stages of pregnancy can indeed determine the gender of the baby. This has a scientific basis, but it is only the acidity and alkalinity at the time of fertilization. You can't tell after you're pregnant. The accuracy of the initial inspection is still very high.

Urine is tested throughout pregnancy to detect signs of protein in the urine, which is a sign of a potentially serious condition called pre-eclampsia. Other signs of preeclampsia include swelling in the limbs and high blood pressure. The first line of treatment for preeclampsia is rest, but some studies have questioned whether this approach works.

When a pregnant woman has a urine test, her urine sugar level may also be tested, as that can be a sign of gestational diabetes. According to Chen Qian, a Chinese expert at the Baby Center, Chinese doctors now recommend checking blood sugar for expectant mothers because the accuracy of blood sugar is significantly higher than urine sugar.

If high levels of sugar are detected in the urine at any stage of pregnancy, a glucose tolerance test will be needed.

The first thing to note in a routine urine test is that fresh morning urine should be used as a urine sample. Because people drink less water at night, the various components excreted into the urine by the kidneys are stored in the bladder and concentrated, making them easy to detect, thereby increasing the positive detection rate. Other randomly collected urine samples are also acceptable, but midstream urine should be collected as much as possible.

Precautions for routine urine examination in pregnant women

Routine urine examination is one of the most commonly used tests in hospitals and is one of the basic indicators reflecting physical health. Urinalysis is one of the items in prenatal examination for pregnant women. What should pregnant women pay attention to during urine routine examination? The following are the precautions for urine routine examination. Expectant mothers and other patients who are about to undergo urine routine examination should pay attention to them:

1. The urine specimen must be fresh. After the urine is left for a few hours, the white blood cells will be destroyed and the pyuria will disappear, glucose will be decomposed by bacteria, the casts will be destroyed, and the cells will be lysed, which will affect the accuracy of the test results.

2. The urine specimen must be clean. Women should avoid menstruation and clean the vulva to avoid mixing in leucorrhea and blood; male patients should avoid mixing in prostatic fluid, etc. According to the order of urination, urine can be divided into the front section, middle section and back section. Because the first and second stream urine are easily contaminated, midstream urine is generally collected when doing urine routine and urine bacteriological examinations. Urine should be collected in a clean container, such as a clean urine cup provided by the hospital. If the urine is contaminated by leucorrhea, etc., a clean urine sample must be collected for re-examination.

3. The amount of urine sent for examination: generally not less than 10 ml (at least half the volume of the urine cup).
