White curd-like discharge

White curd-like discharge

The normal female vaginal discharge should look transparent or white pus, but if a woman suffers from a gynecological disease, her vaginal discharge will change. Not only will the amount of vaginal discharge increase, the smell of the vaginal discharge will also be stronger, and there may be tofu-like discharge. At this time, women will also feel vaginal itching and may also cause lower abdominal pain. So what is the matter with the white tofu-like discharge in the lower body?

Under normal circumstances, leucorrhea is clear, transparent, odorless and small in quantity. Therefore, the clinical manifestation of leucorrhea is bean curd-like or curd-like discharge, which is generally itchy and has no odor. In severe cases, the genitals may feel dry and the vulva may edema. You can go to the hospital to do a secretion test to confirm the diagnosis. If it is inconvenient to go, you can use some external medication for conditioning, usually rinse with soda water or sodium bicarbonate injection, and then use Daktarin suppository, Shuangqitai suppository, or clotrimazole ointment externally.

Pay attention to daily care, wash the vulva with clean water every day, and do not use lotion or clean water to clean the vagina, which will destroy the acid-base environment of the vagina and cause bacterial imbalance and fungal infection. Do not take too many anti-inflammatory drugs. Long-term and high-dose anti-inflammatory drugs can cause fungal attacks, especially cephalosporins and penicillins. Pay attention to your daily routine and vulvar hygiene. Socks and shorts must be washed separately. Shorts must be scalded in boiling water and exposed to the sun. This will help the recovery of fungal vaginitis.

If the leucorrhea is like tofu dregs and the vulva is itchy, the first thing to be alert to is candidal vaginitis. Candidal vaginitis is a type of vaginitis caused by Candida albicans infection.

Treatment of candidal vaginitis (1) Changing the acidity and alkalinity of the vagina: The most suitable pH value for the growth of Candida is 5.5, so flushing the vagina with an alkaline solution can inhibit the growth of fungi. Therefore, baking soda solution is generally used to flush the vagina. (2) You can follow the doctor’s advice to apply clotrimazole suppositories or dacrylin suppositories to the vagina after flushing.
