Can I have sex if I have brown discharge after my period?

It is well known that men and women must not have sex during the woman's menstrual period, because having sex during this period will greatly increase the woman's chance of suffering from gynecological diseases, and may also cause men to suffer from related andrological diseases. So even if you are really passionate, you should wait until the woman's menstruation is over before having sex. However, some women find that there is still brown discharge in their lower body after the menstrual period ends. Can they have sex at this time?

Can I have sex if I have brown discharge during menstruation?

You are not allowed to share a room. The average female menstrual cycle is 28 to 30 days, and it is normal for it to last two to seven days. Having sex before the menstrual period is over may lead to infection. The endometrium, which has just finished its menstrual period, is already unable to take care of itself and has lost its good defense capabilities. During sexual intercourse at this time, the male reproductive organs will bring in bacteria, infect the endometrium and cause pelvic inflammation, causing pain to the woman. Some women will experience recurrence a few days after their period ends. In this case, you should be extra careful and avoid having sex.

If you have sex at this time, bacteria will be brought into the reproductive tract, causing infection and inducing various gynecological inflammations, such as endometritis, salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, etc.; and some menstrual secretions may also enter the male urethra, which may cause urethritis. It is recommended that you wait two to three days after your period ends before having sex.

When the menstruation is about to end, it is brown, or black. The reason is that the amount of blood is significantly reduced at this time, and vaginal secretions gradually prevail. Vaginal secretions and menstrual blood mix together and appear dark brown or reddish-black. On the 1st or 2nd day of menstruation, or the 2nd or 3rd day when the flow is heavy, the blood should be red because there is more blood at this time, which dilutes the cervical mucus and vaginal secretions, so the blood is dominant, and blood clots and endometrial fragments can be seen at the same time.
