What is the matter with the hardness in the breast?

Because breast cancer has become a serious problem that endangers the body of modern women, most women are very afraid of developing breast cancer. Therefore, breast self-examination has become a daily necessity for some women. In fact, breast self-examination can effectively detect breast diseases. It is recommended that all women perform breast self-examination. And what if a woman finds a lump inside her breast?

There are generally two possibilities for lumps in the breast: one is breast hyperplasia, which generally does not require treatment. The most prominent feature is its cyclical nature. It often occurs or worsens before menstruation, and the pain is significantly reduced or disappears after menstruation. This disease can occur in all age groups, but is most common in 25-45 years old.

The lumps are often multiple and can be seen on one side or on both sides. They can be limited to one part of the breast or scattered throughout the breast. The lumps are nodular, of varying sizes, tough and cystic, with no adhesion to the skin and deep tissues and can be moved. Breast pain is related to mood and fatigue level.

Second, fibroids: Breast fibroids are the most common benign tumors in adolescent women. Those who have recurred and recurred should be highly alert because they have a high chance of becoming malignant. Clinically, they often have the following characteristics: they are more common in women aged 15-25 with strong sexual function; they are more likely to occur in the upper outer quadrant of the breast, about 75% are single, and a few are multiple; the biggest characteristic is that patients often have no symptoms, and they are often found accidentally or when taking a bath. They are peanut or date-sized, movable, smooth, clearly defined, and hard tumors; there is generally no axillary lymph node enlargement, no nipple discharge, and the size of the tumor has no effect on the menstrual cycle. Suggestions: If you can move back and forth when pressing it with your hand, and it doesn't hurt, then it is very likely a fibroid. It is recommended that you go to the hospital for a color Doppler ultrasound to find out. Most of them are benign, so don't have a psychological burden.
