Dysmenorrhea is a problem encountered by many women. Dysmenorrhea generally refers to pain in the lower abdomen of women, or swelling, a feeling of heaviness, and it can also easily lead to back pain, weakness in the limbs, and when the body is suffering from an illness, it can easily lead to dysmenorrhea. When the uterus lacks a certain amount of oxygen or blood supply, it can also easily lead to dysmenorrhea. Where does dysmenorrhea hurt? Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynecological symptoms. It refers to lower abdominal pain and distension before, during, or after menstruation, accompanied by back pain or other discomfort, and the symptoms seriously affect the quality of life. Dysmenorrhea is divided into two categories: primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea refers to dysmenorrhea without organic lesions of the reproductive organs; secondary dysmenorrhea refers to dysmenorrhea caused by organic pelvic diseases, such as endometriosis and adenomyosis. Causes of Dysmenorrhea The causes of dysmenorrhea are different for each person and may not be able to be detected. Moreover, each person may have more than one cause of dysmenorrhea, which may be the result of several causes working together. Generally speaking, dysmenorrhea may be caused by the following reasons. 1. Some women have congenital cervical stenosis. During menstruation, the outflow of menstrual blood will be obstructed and stagnant due to the narrow path, which will cause discomfort and lead to dysmenorrhea. 2. There are also congenital uterine hypoplasia and lack of uterine function, which will cause the uterus to be deprived of oxygen during menstruation, and insufficient blood volume will also cause dysmenorrhea. 3. Abnormal position of the uterus can also hinder the outflow of menstrual blood, which is also one of the causes of dysmenorrhea. 4. During menstruation, some people's nerves are overly tense and they will react strongly to pain. 5. Research has not shown that dysmenorrhea can be inherited, but the degree of dysmenorrhea a daughter experiences is still related to genetics. 6. Dysmenorrhea occurs when a woman's endocrine system is out of balance. This is mainly because the level of progesterone in the body increases during menstruation. 7. Excessive contraction of the uterus can cause dysmenorrhea. The uterus of women with dysmenorrhea usually contracts much longer than that of normal people, and the uterus remains in a contracted state and cannot relax completely. Such excessive contraction can cause abdominal pain. 8. If a woman suffers from gynecological diseases such as pelvic inflammation, uterine disease or endometriosis, her menstrual blood will be blocked and she will suffer from dysmenorrhea. 9. Abnormal contraction of the uterus. During the menstrual period, the smooth muscles of the uterus will experience ischemia, which will cause spasms in the muscles inside the uterus. This is an abnormal contraction of the uterus and will cause pain, which is what we usually call dysmenorrhea. 10. When girls experience their first menstruation, they will experience psychological pressure due to lack of experience and correct guidance in this regard. This kind of pressure will cause poor blood circulation in the body. Without correct knowledge, eating cold drinks during menstruation will cause stagnation of qi and blood and cause dysmenorrhea. 11. You need to pay attention to rest during menstruation. Strenuous physical exercise may induce dysmenorrhea. 12. Poor air quality, serious environmental pollution, and pungent air odors can also cause dysmenorrhea. |
