Pelvic floor exercises

Pelvic floor exercises

Every woman needs to go through the process of getting married and having children. Most women find that their figures have changed a lot after giving birth. In particular, some mothers find that their weight is obviously the same as before pregnancy, but many pants cannot be worn. Generally speaking, if the body has such symptoms, it is mostly caused by abnormalities in the pelvis. What are the methods of pelvic contraction exercises?

How to do pelvic floor exercises

1. Many women have an enlarged pelvis after childbirth. Some people say that it is caused by natural childbirth. The female body shape has changed and become larger, especially the buttocks. The pelvis becomes wider after giving birth, which is the so-called big butt. Many mothers are very depressed. In fact, this situation occurs in mothers who give birth naturally and in caesarean sections. When a woman is pregnant, in order to give birth smoothly, the body will secrete relaxant hormones to relax the pelvis and some joints, so that the baby can be born smoothly. It can be said that this problem exists no matter how you give birth to a child. In order to contract the pelvis, women can use a belly band to help contract it during the confinement period. In addition to stabilizing the female pelvis, this can also keep the hips tucked in and prevent dislocation. Reposition and correct the pelvis.

2. If you want to contract your pelvis, you need to adopt the correct exercise method. Pelvic reduction surgery is very popular today, and women who need it can choose to undergo bone reduction surgery. In fact, it is very simple. You can finish it when you hardly feel any pain. If the pelvis is not seriously injured, it will be back to normal after two or three times.

When to use a pelvic belt

Medical research has shown that the 42 days after delivery is a period of high hormone secretion in women, and the pelvis still has good plasticity at this time. Therefore, if moderate external force is applied to the pelvis in time within 42 days after delivery (i.e. during the confinement period), it can effectively help the pelvis return to its pre-delivery state.

Therefore, mothers who gave birth naturally can start using a pelvic correction belt 2 or 3 days after delivery, and mothers who gave birth by caesarean section can start using a pelvic correction belt 5 or 6 days after delivery, as long as they have recovered well. The pelvic correction belt is used at a lower position. Its function is to apply moderate inward pressure to the pelvis to promote its recovery as soon as possible. Because it takes 2 months for the ligaments to return to their original hardness, the postpartum pelvic correction belt should be used for at least 2 months, and can also be used up to six months after delivery depending on your own recovery situation.

Is the pelvic band effective?

Generally speaking, women can recover their pelvic deformation to a certain extent through moderate exercise after childbirth, but in real life, many mothers are unable to persist in long-term exercise, so the deformed pelvis is difficult to restore to its original state. However, if you can use a pelvic correction belt in conjunction with postpartum exercise, it can achieve twice the result with half the effort in tightening the pelvis. It should be noted that the pelvic belt is best used within the first six months after delivery, because the pelvis is still in a loose state at this time and external pressure can be used to restore the pelvis to its original shape. In addition, dietary adjustments can also help with recovery.
