Thick and bloody vaginal discharge

Thick and bloody vaginal discharge

As a normal woman, leucorrhea and menstruation are both very normal, but they are also things that bother most women. When the leucorrhea is thick and contains some blood, there are mainly two possibilities. The first is that a large amount of substances will be secreted during women's menstruation, and a small amount of menstrual blood will be mixed in the leucorrhea; the second is that when gynecological inflammation occurs, blood will also appear in the leucorrhea. Therefore, we must take precautions in this regard from the daily perspective.

1. Understand and master menstrual physiology and hygiene knowledge, and pay attention to menstrual health care and hygiene.

2. Avoid excessive fatigue during bleeding and get more rest; keep the area clean to prevent infection; apply hot compresses to the abdomen when abdominal pain is severe; and keep your emotions stable. Strengthen physical exercise on a regular basis to improve your physical fitness.

3. Enhance resistance: Keep exercising, strengthen your physical fitness and improve your resistance to germs, maintain good sleep, eat a reasonable diet and eat more vitamin-rich foods.

4. Choose cotton underwear: When choosing underwear, try to choose cotton underwear and avoid wearing nylon underwear, because cotton underwear can keep the genitals dry and ventilated.

5. Avoid frequent sexual intercourse: Do not have frequent sexual intercourse, because frequent sexual intercourse may increase the chance of bacterial infection. Especially during menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum period, sexual intercourse should be prohibited. You should keep your genitals clean at ordinary times, avoid taking public baths, and have special hygiene products.

6. Psychological state: According to clinical investigations, long-term psychological repression or stress is also a major cause of abnormal leucorrhea. Therefore, women should maintain a good mental state, not put too much pressure on themselves, and relax themselves appropriately. Try to avoid becoming overly excited, angry, or impatient.

7. Always use sanitary pads: Some female friends are worried that leucorrhea will stain their underwear or are too lazy to wash their underwear, so they always use sanitary pads on weekdays. This is a very wrong practice. If it is not before or after menstruation, you should try not to use sanitary pads. If there is inflammation, you should clean the vulva with Yuxue every night and change your underwear. In addition, do not use various medicinal liquids to clean the vagina, as this will damage the internal environment of the vagina and cause vaginitis.

8. Regular gynecological examinations: Even if you do not feel any discomfort, you should still have regular check-ups. It is best to have a comprehensive gynecological examination at least once a year.
