Can the diseases contracted during the confinement period be cured?

After giving birth, women are generally very weak and need to recuperate by taking a confinement period. If you don't pay attention during the confinement period, it is easy to get postpartum disease. If you don't want to get postpartum disease, women must pay more attention to rest during the confinement period, maintain a balanced nutrition, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, and maintain a good attitude, all of which are very beneficial for physical recovery.

Can the diseases contracted during the confinement period be cured?

The diseases contracted during the confinement period are difficult to cure, because the body is relatively weak during this period and without proper conditioning, it will be difficult to cure them directly once problems arise.

1. Playing with mobile phone

Many young mothers born in the 1990s find that the time during confinement is too difficult to endure, so they play with their mobile phones, thinking that playing with mobile phones will not cause any harm to the body. But in fact, you are not allowed to play with mobile phones or watch TV during the confinement period, which is very bad. During the confinement period, the mother's physical condition is relatively weak and her eyes are easily fatigued. Staring at the mobile phone screen for a long time will damage her eyesight.

2. Take a bath and wash your hair before the end of the confinement period

Many new mothers feel that they are in good health and there is nothing wrong with taking a bath during the confinement period. However, after giving birth, the new mother's body is particularly weak. When washing her hair and taking a bath, the pores all over the body are open, making her particularly susceptible to cold. If you catch a cold during the confinement period, you will suffer from a "confinement disease" that can never be cured, and you may catch a cold or fever at any time.

3. Losing temper and crying

The confinement period is the time when new mothers are most vulnerable physically and mentally. They have not yet fully accepted the change in their identity. Many trivial family matters, the husband's inconsideration, and the mother-in-law's different concepts of raising children can cause new mothers to become emotional and shed tears, which is very bad for the eyes and can easily affect the quality of milk.

Things to note during confinement

1. During the "confinement period", the perineum of the mother will have more secretions, so the vulva should be cleaned with warm water every day. Change perineal pads frequently and keep the perineum clean and dry. The lochia will clear up in about 4 to 6 weeks after delivery.

2. Generally, you can take a bath and wash your hair one week after delivery, but you must stick to sponge baths and not take a tub bath to prevent dirty water from bathing from entering the reproductive tract and causing infection. You can shower after 6 weeks.

3. The room should be ventilated frequently. The indoor temperature should not be too high, nor should it fluctuate suddenly. In the past, it was often said that doors and windows should be closed tightly and mothers should be covered with thick blankets at all times. This is very dangerous, especially in summer, as it can easily cause heatstroke in mothers.

If you develop any illness during the confinement period, it is difficult to cure it through daily treatment and you can only wait until the next confinement period to cure it. If you take good care of yourself during the confinement period, you will not easily suffer from various body aches in the future. If you do not take good care of yourself during the confinement period, you will suffer from pain here and there for the rest of your life, and your body will become worse and worse, so taking good care of yourself during the confinement period is very important.
