Women's menopause symptoms

Women's menopause symptoms

For women, ovaries not only mean pregnancy, but also to a certain extent are a sign of body aging. Especially with the arrival of menopause, it can be said that the ovaries have begun to decline, which also causes the endocrine system in women to begin to fluctuate drastically. This situation can easily cause women to have various abnormal emotions or behaviors. So, what are the symptoms that indicate that a woman is entering menopause?

Female menopausal syndrome refers to a series of syndromes characterized by autonomic nervous system dysfunction and metabolic disorders caused by the gradual decline or loss of ovarian function and the decrease in estrogen levels in women during or after menopause.

Menopausal syndrome mostly occurs between the ages of 45 and 55. Generally, these symptoms begin to appear when menstruation is disrupted during the menopause period and can last for 2 to 3 years after menopause. Only in a few people will the symptoms be alleviated or disappear 5 to 10 years after menopause.

Menopause is a stage that every woman must go through, but the severity of the symptoms varies from person to person, and the duration varies. Mild cases may be safe and sound, while severe cases may affect work and life, and even develop into menopausal diseases. It can be as short as a few months or as long as several years. Although menopausal syndrome manifests itself in many symptoms, its essence is a process of endocrine changes that women must go through in their lifetime.

Performance

(1) The menstrual cycle gradually decreases, the interval between periods lengthens, and the menstrual period shortens, leading to gradual cessation of menstruation. However, there are also cases where the menstrual flow increases, accompanied by large amounts of blood clots, and then slowly stops, resulting in loss of reproductive ability and atrophy of the reproductive organs.

(2) Mental and autonomic nervous system dysfunction. Patients often feel bouts of flushing in the head and neck, hot flashes, sweating, dizziness, headache, tinnitus, back pain, dry mouth, burning sensation in the throat, difficulty concentrating, nervousness and excitement, complex and changeable emotions, irritability, insomnia, forgetfulness, numbness and itching of the skin, and sometimes a sensation of ants crawling on the body, etc., and even hysterical attacks.

(3) Palpitations, increased blood pressure, obesity, lower limb edema, joint pain, osteoporosis, etc. Any woman aged 45 to 50 who has the above symptoms can be diagnosed with menopausal syndrome after a doctor has examined and ruled out other diseases.
