Caesarean section scar

Caesarean section scar

Caesarean section is a common way for women to give birth. Many women will have some scars on their skin after Caesarean section. These scars will greatly affect their appearance. For some women who love beauty, they will choose some scar removal drugs. These scar removal drugs are applied to the scar area, which can significantly improve the scar. So how to remove the scars from Caesarean section?

The scar after cesarean section is caused by many factors. First of all, the length of the wound opened during the operation will be different depending on the individual's situation. Then, it is also related to the individual's physical constitution. Some people have a scar-prone constitution, which means that the scar will not only not decrease with age, but will grow larger. The third is that for most people, the scar will fade and shrink over time.

But the issue of scars is really not a big deal, for most people they will get smaller over time.

Generally speaking, when injured, scars are mainly divided into two types: "superficial scars" and "deep scars". If it is a shallow scar, only the epidermis is injured, and the body will produce the same tissue to automatically fill it without leaving a scar; if it is a deep scar, such as a wound caused by a caesarean section, because it is deep into the dermis, the skin will produce strong scar tissue to connect the wound and prevent the wound from cracking.

Over the next 3 to 6 months, scar tissue will continue to proliferate (this period is called the proliferative phase), and the human body will also grow tiny blood vessels near the wound to provide nutrition to the scar tissue. This is why early scars look red and swollen. If the wound heals smoothly, it will enter the mature stage from the proliferative stage, and the scar will gradually fade and become flatter. Deep scars - hyperplastic stage (3 to 6 months)
