Under normal circumstances, menopause is not sudden. Researchers observed 282 premenopausal women and found that 181 of them had menstrual cycle disorders, accounting for 63.8%. 2. Palpitations and night sweats: 28.9% of women experience pseudo-angina before menopause, sometimes accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, headache, chest tightness, palpitations, heart palpitations, and night sweats. Some patients also have symptoms such as neck and shoulder pain, and back pain.

3. Depression and irritability: Most women are prone to excitement, irritability, depression, tension, insomnia, memory loss, cognitive dysfunction, inattention, anxiety, suspicion, excessive self-esteem or low self-esteem before and after menopause, and in severe cases even commit suicide.

4. Breast sagging: The breasts gradually shrink due to the decline of ovarian function and lack of estrogen stimulation. The glands gradually degenerate and are replaced by fat tissue, resulting in smaller breasts and sagging.

5. Others: In the early stage after menopause, osteoporosis, vulvar atrophy, vaginal atrophy, sexual intercourse pain, degenerative vaginitis, urethritis, frequent urination and urinary incontinence may also occur.

How can menopause be appropriately delayed? How to stay healthier and younger after menopause?

1. Eat more foods rich in vitamins C and E and phytoestrogens to maintain your ovaries

Studies have shown that taking 90 mg of vitamin C and 30 mg of vitamin E every day can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer by 50%. Regular consumption of foods rich in phytoestrogens also has a good effect on ovarian maintenance.

As for folic acid, it is a water-soluble vitamin B that is found in large quantities in green vegetables, citrus fruits and whole grains.

3. Calcium supplementation to prevent osteoporosis

After menopause, women will lose a lot of calcium in their bodies, leading to osteoporosis. Therefore, calcium supplementation after menopause should be considered common sense. Daily sunlight exposure is beneficial to calcium absorption, while more exercise helps increase bone density. You can also eat more foods high in Ca and P, such as fish, shrimp, dried shrimp, kelp, milk, dairy products, bone soup, eggs, beans, etc. In addition, American researchers have found that people who consume high-calcium foods every day have a 46% lower incidence of ovarian cancer than those who do not consume enough calcium.
