Where is cervical erosion?

In fact, there is no such disease as cervical erosion. It is mainly caused by excessive hormones in the body, bacterial and viral infections, and stimulation of sexual life, which cause rupture and bleeding of the cervical mucosa. It is divided into physiological and pathological types. Physiological types do not require treatment. Vaginitis is characterized by itching, redness, swelling, pain, abnormal vaginal discharge, odor, and even bleeding and ulceration. It is recommended to rest more temporarily, avoid overwork, and avoid eating spicy, cold and irritating foods. You can go to the hospital for local examination and leucorrhea test, and then receive symptomatic treatment based on the results of the examination, such as metronidazole suppository, Baofukang suppository, Xiaomi suppository, etc.

Cervical erosion is caused by chronic inflammatory stimulation and can be divided into three degrees: mild, moderate and severe. Some of it is physiological and will resolve on its own. Further cervical scraping and HPV are needed. If there is no problem after examination, you can use vaginal suppositories to eliminate cervical erosion, exercise moderation in sexual life, and take medication as prescribed by the doctor.

Simply put, cervical erosion is caused by the invasion of bacteria on the cervix, which causes the squamous epithelium on the surface to slowly fall off. At this time, the columnar epithelium in the cervical canal takes the opportunity to surround it, making the cervix look red, and some even appear granular, forming cervical erosion. Doctors will classify the erosion into mild, moderate or severe based on the size of the area. Generally speaking, erosion area less than 30% is mild, 30%-60% is moderate, and more than 60% is severe.
