Cervical erosion and eversion

Cervical erosion is a very serious gynecological disease. This gynecological disease often causes women to feel abdominal pain and some brown substances to flow out of their lower body. During sexual intercourse, it will cause unbearable pain due to collision. Most cervical erosions require surgery for treatment, and patients with cervical erosion may also cause labia eversion. So what should be done if cervical erosion eversion occurs?

Cervical ectropion and cervical erosion are both gynecological diseases, but their concepts and natures are completely different. Cervical erosion is not as scary as it sounds. To put it simply, it is a normal physiological phenomenon, while cervical ectropion is the outward protrusion of the cervical endometrium caused by certain reasons. Next, let us learn about cervical ectropion and cervical erosion.

The cervical tears during delivery can be unilateral, bilateral or stellate, ranging in severity from mild to tearing to the dome. If not repaired promptly by surgery, scar tissue contracture will cause the cervical canal to evert, exposing the cervical mucosa to the outside, thus forming cervical eversion. The main clinical manifestation of uterine ectropion is increased vaginal discharge. The symptoms are not obvious when there is no infection. If there is a concurrent infection, the vaginal mucopurulent secretions will increase, and there may even be contact bleeding, lower abdominal or lumbosacral pain. In fact, mild cervical ectropion has no clinical symptoms and does not require treatment. However, patients with symptoms of chronic cervicitis should be treated according to the treatment principles.

Cervical erosion actually refers to the ectopia of the cervical columnar epithelium. In essence, the so-called cervical erosion is actually the eversion of the columnar epithelium. Cervical erosion is actually a normal physiological phenomenon and has no special clinical manifestations. Some people may experience contact bleeding, but this is just an individual difference in the cervix. Therefore, no special treatment is needed for cervical erosion. It is mainly necessary to carry out relevant treatment for cervical inflammation that already has symptoms.

Whether it is cervical ectropion and cervical erosion, or other gynecological diseases, it is very important for female friends to prevent them in daily life. Pay attention to personal hygiene, keep the vulva clean and dry, change underwear frequently, and wash after having sex. Developing a good habit of regular physical examinations will help detect problems in time and provide early treatment. The most important thing is to enhance your own resistance, exercise more appropriately, and supplement more nutrients.
