Can I get pregnant if I ejaculate during delayed menstruation?

Delayed menstruation is a physiological problem encountered by many women, which will cause great trouble to women's lives. Women who want to get pregnant will not be able to accurately calculate their ovulation period due to delayed menstruation, which will result in women being unable to successfully prevent pregnancy or having a lower chance of becoming pregnant. There is also greater uncertainty when a woman has sexual intercourse when her period is delayed. Let’s take a look at whether it is possible to get pregnant if you ejaculate during delayed menstruation?

If you have sex without contraceptive measures during delayed menstruation, some people may get pregnant. It is recommended to observe for a while. If you get pregnant during this time, it will take at least half a month before you can use an early pregnancy test.

After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1-2 days to wait for fertilization; the male's sperm can maintain fertilization ability for 2-3 days in the female's reproductive tract, so it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. The 5 days before and after the egg day, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days are called the ovulation period. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period.

Women may have extra ovulation at any time, which is unpredictable. Although the probability of this happening is very low, it does exist. For safety reasons, I personally think that contraceptive measures should be taken during all sexual intercourse. Strictly speaking, there is no absolute safe period for women. Therefore, safe period contraception is not absolutely safe.

Some couples who use the rhythm method of contraception still get pregnant unexpectedly even if they strictly follow the requirements and regulations and avoid sexual intercourse for about 10 days before and after ovulation. Why is this? It turns out that female ovulation is controlled by the nerves and endocrine system. When the mind is over-excited, nervous, the living environment changes, or the physical health status changes, the ovarian ovulation will be affected, resulting in non-ovulation ovulation, which is super ovulation. Women who are newly married or reunited with their husbands after a long separation are most likely to experience supernumerary ovulation, so they should pay attention to contraception.
