What is cervical dilation?

Many people don’t know how to improve the condition of cervical dilation, and they feel scared. In fact, the cervix can also be deformed, but most of these conditions have already formed before women are born, and have become a congenital disease. These diseases are difficult to cure, and may even require multiple surgeries to make the body better.

Symptoms of cervical malformation

1. Absence of cervix: This is caused by the stagnation of development of the tail end of the paramesonephric duct, which may be accompanied by upper vaginal atresia or uterine malformation.

2. Bipartite cervical malformation is caused by the failure of fusion of the middle segments of the bilateral paramesonephric ducts.

3. Congenital cervical stenosis is seen in daughters whose mothers took diethylstilbestrol in early pregnancy. They develop vaginal adenosis, cervical stenosis and erosion, cervical epithelial anaplasia, adenocarcinoma or clear cell carcinoma during puberty. This is because diethylstilbestrol interferes with the normal differentiation of sexual tissues and organs in early pregnancy. This phenomenon is called DES syndrome (diethylstilbestrol-DES syndrome).

4. Congenital cervical elongation, which is a relatively rare symptom of cervical malformation.

Cervical stenosis and uterine hypoplasia.

1. It depends on the degree and nature of the erosion. Cervical erosion is divided into three degrees: mild, moderate and severe according to the depth of the lesion. If it is mild and superficial erosion, even if the erosion surface is large, if the erosion is shallow and there is not much leucorrhea, it can be temporarily left untreated. If the papillary erosion is moderate or above, cancer prevention examinations and treatment are necessary. As long as you pay attention to not affecting the cervical canal during physical therapy, there is no need to worry too much. This depends on the doctor's correct diagnosis of the disease and his proficiency in the operation.

2. Many patients with cervicitis are worried about whether they will develop cervical cancer. So will cervicitis develop into cervical cancer? Generally speaking, simply suffering from cervicitis will not pose too much threat to health, but symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge, low back pain, and lower abdominal distension caused by cervicitis often affect people's emotions. From the perspective of cancer prevention, cervicitis is closely related to cervical cancer. Data from cancer prevention surveys show that 0.39% of people without cervical erosion develop cervical cancer, while 0.205% of people with uterine erosion develop cervical cancer. This shows that actively treating chronic cervicitis and taking active preventive measures are of great significance to protecting women's health and preventing and treating cervical cancer.

3. Cervicitis can be divided into acute and chronic types. The chronic type is more common, including four pathological symptoms: cervical erosion, cervical cyst, cervical polyps, and cervical hypertrophy. Among them, cervical erosion is the most common and the most harmful.

4. There are no obvious symptoms in the early stage of cervical erosion. As the disease progresses, the patient will experience increased vaginal discharge, pus, and odor. There may also be bloody leucorrhea, bleeding during sexual intercourse, frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating, which brings inconvenience to work and life, and poses many hidden dangers to the quality of marriage. This in turn leads to psychological burdens for women: insomnia, dreaminess, irritability, and endocrine disorders, dull complexion, and mental fatigue.
