Why do I feel hot during early pregnancy?

The body temperature of pregnant women will indeed be higher in daily life, and their metabolism is more frequent, so the high body temperature is also normal. Pregnant women should pay special attention during pregnancy. Fever and high body temperature are physiological manifestations and pathological manifestations respectively. The two should not be mixed together. There are also a small number of pregnant women who experience nausea for a longer period of time and vomit more frequently, so these all need attention and adjustment.

The body temperature during pregnancy is a little higher. Pregnant women have more frequent metabolism during this period, so their body temperature is also high, but the normal body temperature is generally 36.5-37.2 degrees. If you feel uncomfortable, you should rest more, drink more water, and pay attention to a light diet!

If a pregnant woman's body temperature rises above 37.5 degrees Celsius, you must consider the possibility of a fever; if the body temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees Celsius, you must pay special attention and handle it with care.

1. Basic Introduction

The combined effects of hormones and HCG cause pregnancy reactions in pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy. Each person will experience different physical changes in response to pregnancy depending on their physical fitness. In simple terms, different individuals will have different degrees of reaction. Symptoms of early pregnancy generally occur between 6 weeks after menstruation and 3 months of pregnancy.

Pregnancy reactions

Generally, about 6 weeks after the menstruation stops in the early stages of pregnancy, about half of pregnant women will feel dizzy, weak, tired, sleepy, and have a loss of appetite. Some people may also have pregnancy reactions such as abnormal appetite, picky eating, preference for sour taste and aversion to greasy food. Some people may also experience nausea and vomiting in the early morning and when the stomach is empty. They cannot smell greasy or other odors, otherwise vomiting will occur immediately. All these are physiological reactions of pregnancy.

Pregnancy reactions will generally disappear naturally around the 12th week of pregnancy. Although it is a physiological reaction and is still very uncomfortable, the above pregnancy reactions that occur during pregnancy generally do not affect health and do not require treatment.

However, there are also a few pregnant women who experience prolonged nausea, frequent vomiting, and even vomitus mixed with bile or blood, causing dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. At this time, pregnancy reactions develop into pathological conditions. Due to being in a state of hunger for a long time, the body uses adipose tissue to supply energy, resulting in the accumulation of ketone bodies, the intermediate products of fat metabolism, causing metabolic acidosis. The patient will experience obvious weight loss, thirst, dry skin and oral mucosa, decreased urine volume, and the appearance of ketone bodies in the urine.

If the disease continues to progress, liver and kidney function damage will occur, manifested as jaundice, elevated blood transaminases, increased blood urea nitrogen and creatinine, decreased urine volume, and even anuria, as well as the appearance of proteinuria and tubular urine. If this happens, pregnant women should go to the hospital as soon as possible for adjustment and treatment, and replenish fluids and nutrition in time so as not to affect the normal development of the fetus.

Clinically, some pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting from the fourth week of pregnancy until the late pregnancy. This type of pregnant woman does not need treatment as long as the symptoms are not severe, do not affect the body's metabolism, and the pregnancy reaction symptoms decrease as the pregnancy progresses.
