The reason why women have dark spots on their faces

Relevant experts have found through research that chloasma is a type of disease with a higher prevalence among many skin symptoms. The most common chloasma is also known as butterfly spots and pregnancy spots. Chinese medicine calls it "liver spots" and "dark spots". They are block-shaped, symmetrically distributed, brown or gray-black, mostly centered on the bridge of the nose, and occur on the cheeks, sacrum, and forehead. Some also occur on the upper lip and brow bone. The incidence rate is mainly young women, and the causes of chloasma are very complex.

1. External reasons

1. Wind and sun

Melasma is limited to exposed areas of the face and is often caused or aggravated by wind and sun exposure in the summer, indicating that it is related to wind and sun exposure.

In daily life, when we go out or turn on the light, the exposed skin will be exposed to direct sunlight or other strong light. Over time, the skin of the body will continue to be oxidized, and then a large amount of pigment will be metabolized, thus causing pigmentation and producing chloasma.

2. Improper use of skin care products

Skin care products containing compounds and excessive amounts of heavy metals such as lead and mercury penetrate into the skin and cause physiological damage to the skin, including the appearance of chloasma.

3. Poor facial cleansing

Whether the cleaning is incomplete or excessive, it will cause the skin's microecological imbalance, leading to physiological harm to the skin, including the appearance of chloasma.

2. Internal reasons

1. Ovaries are not in good condition

According to traditional Chinese medicine, uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts can cause women's facial aging, chloasma, freckles and breast hyperplasia. Traditional Chinese medicine records that blood has the function of nourishing the skin. When the nourishing function of blood weakens, clinical symptoms such as dull or yellow complexion, dry facial skin, and facial chloasma can be seen.

In addition, when the ovaries are damaged, the secretion of female estrogen will increase accordingly, which will cause the accumulation of pigment in the skin over time and cause the formation of chloasma.

2. Kidney function and growth hormone metabolism imbalance

The kidneys are responsible for the production of a variety of important hormones in the body. When the kidneys are damaged, the adrenal glands produce too much or too little important hormones such as aldosterone (hydrocortisone), aldosterone and androgens (mainly dehydroepiandrosterone DHEA, androstenedione), which will increase sodium metabolism and reduce potassium metabolism, resulting in hyponatremia, hypochloremia, hyperkalemia, decreased urine extraction function and electrolyte imbalance, causing severe dehydration and metabolic acidosis. Among them, melasma is one of the malignant symptoms caused by it.

3. Pregnancy

Patients who take birth control pills, have reproductive organ diseases, have irregular menstruation, have dysmenorrhea, have adnexitis, and are infertile are more likely to develop chloasma. It is the result of the additional, synergistic effects of estrogen and oestrogen. Chloasma often appears on the face of patients with some chronic diseases such as liver disease, chronic alcoholism, tuberculosis, visceral organ tumors, thyroid disease and some autoimmune system diseases. This is related to endocrine imbalances such as the uterus, ovaries, pituitary gland, and thyroid cysts.

Here are some effective ways to get rid of spots.

Topical application:

Take an appropriate amount of fresh motherwort granules, mash a small amount of juice, and apply it to the wound in the morning, noon and evening.

If there are dark spots on the face caused by wind and sun, you can apply milk on the face and gently massage it. After 2-3 minutes, the skin will shrink. Then apply dried lemon slices on the face, and the dark spots will gradually lighten. Then, mash the cucumber slices and mix them with kudzu powder and honey and apply them on the face. Apply for 5-8 minutes each time. 3-5 times can remove the dark spots caused by wind and sun.

Crush the tomatoes to extract the juice, add appropriate amount of pure honey and a small amount of wheat flour to make a paste, wipe the face for 20-30 minutes to remove spots.

Take an appropriate amount of sweet almonds (peeled and crushed), mix the sweet almond powder with egg white, apply it on your face before going to bed every night, and wash it off with pure grain wine the next morning.

Take an appropriate amount of Poria cocos (ground into powder) and mix it with pure honey before applying on the face.

Take an appropriate amount of winter melon, mash it, and use its juice to rub the spots on the face, 1-2 times a day. Or add an egg yolk and half a spoon of pure honey, stir and apply on the face.
