Why do I have lower abdominal pain every time I ovulate?

There may be two reasons for lower abdominal pain during ovulation. One reason may be the mild lower abdominal pain caused by normal ovulation. Another possibility is lower abdominal pain caused by sperm implantation. This is due to different individual constitutions. For some people, the number of ruptured follicles causes excessive stimulation of the pelvic membrane.

As the follicle develops and matures, it gradually migrates to the surface of the ovary and protrudes outward.

As the follicle approaches the surface of the ovary, the surface cells become thinner and eventually rupture. After most of the follicular fluid flows out, the egg is discharged, which is called "ovulation". If the menstrual cycle is very regular, a woman's ovulation date is generally about 14 days before the next menstrual period. Generally, the 5 days before and 4 days after ovulation, together with the ovulation day, a total of 10 days are called the ovulation period.

After the egg is released from the ovary, it can survive in the fallopian tube for 1 to 2 days, waiting for fertilization.

A man's sperm can maintain its fertilizing ability in a woman's reproductive tract for 2 to 3 days, so it is easy to get pregnant by having sexual intercourse a few days before and after the egg is released. Because it is easy to get pregnant through sexual intercourse during the ovulation period, the ovulation period is also called the fertile period or the dangerous period. Blood hormone levels, cervical mucus, vaginal exfoliated cell examination, and B-ultrasound can all help determine ovulation.

This is called ovulation pain, a symptom that many women experience.

Don't worry. During a woman's menstrual cycle, only one egg will mature. During the development of the egg cell, not only will the volume of the follicle increase, the follicular fluid will increase, but the follicle will gradually move to the surface of the ovary and protrude from the ovarian capsule.

When the egg cell is fully developed and mature, the ovarian capsule will dissolve and rupture, the follicular fluid will be discharged, and the egg will be slowly squeezed out of the ovary. This is ovulation. Due to individual differences, the amount of follicular fluid discharged when each person's follicle ruptures is not exactly the same. If more follicular fluid is discharged, after the follicular fluid enters the pelvic cavity, it will stimulate the pelvic membrane and cause abdominal pain. This is the cause of the abdominal pain. Some people have abdominal pain, accompanied by symptoms such as lower back pain on the same side, soreness and discomfort in the lumbar sacral region, etc.

If both ovaries ovulate in turn, abdominal pain will occur in both sides of the lower abdomen in turn every month. Suggestions: A small number of women will also experience ovulation bleeding, which is due to the rupture of the follicle and the temporary decrease in estrogen levels after ovulation, which cannot maintain the normal growth of the endometrium and causes endometrial damage. The bleeding time is generally about two weeks before the next menstrual period, ranging from a few hours to no more than 2 days. The amount of bleeding is small, and most of the time it is leucorrhea turning red, and it rarely reaches the amount of menstruation.
