What is the hard part in the uterus?

What is the hard part in the uterus?

Women can only give birth to children if they have a healthy uterus, so they must understand their uterine health problems, pay attention to keeping their genitals clean and hygienic, and avoid unclean sex. Some women asked, what is that hard thing in the uterus? This is actually the cervix of the uterus, and the cervix is also a part that is more susceptible to infection, so you must keep the vagina clean and change your underwear frequently.

What is the hard part of the cervix?

This is the cervix, which is the opening section guided by the uterus. Because it is deep in the body, most people don’t notice it. Don't worry. Don't put dirty hands into the vagina to prevent infection and vaginitis. Pay attention to personal hygiene, keep the perineum clean, take a bath frequently, and change underwear frequently. If you don't have any discomfort symptoms, then it's okay and don't worry. However, if you suspect you have a disease, you can go to the hospital's gynecology department for a check-up.

Clinical manifestations of cervicitis

1. Acute cervicitis

The main manifestations are increased vaginal discharge, which is mucopurulent. The irritation of vaginal discharge can cause itching and burning sensation of the vulva. There may be symptoms such as pain during sexual intercourse and lower abdominal pain. If combined with urinary tract infection, urinary urgency, frequent urination and pain may occur. If it is a Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection, due to the involvement of the paraurethral glands and Bartholin's glands, congestion and edema of the urethral and vaginal opening mucosa as well as a large amount of purulent secretions may be seen. It often occurs simultaneously with vaginitis and endometritis. Infections with pyogenic bacteria such as Staphylococcus and Streptococcus can spread upward and cause pelvic connective tissue inflammation.

2. Chronic cervicitis, increased leucorrhea. Patients with chronic cervicitis may be asymptomatic. Sometimes increased leucorrhea may be the only symptom. The leucorrhea is light yellow and sometimes contains blood. There may also be contact bleeding. Occasionally, secretions may irritate the vulva and cause itching and discomfort. Pain in the lower abdomen or lumbosacral region is a common symptom, which worsens during menstruation and bowel movements and may cause pain during sexual intercourse.

I believe that after reading the above content, everyone has a certain understanding of the question of what the hard part of the cervix is. If we only look at the hard object in the cervix, we cannot confirm the exact cause. Therefore, if we want to know the specific cause, it is best to go to the hospital for formal examination and treatment.
