Right lower abdominal pain in early pregnancy

Right lower abdominal pain in early pregnancy

Women must pay attention to all aspects in the early stages of pregnancy, including diet and rest, because the fetus is not very stable at this time and is easily affected by external stimuli and changes. Therefore, pregnant women must pay special attention to food, clothing, housing and transportation, especially in terms of physical health. Not everyone will experience dull pain in the right lower abdomen in early pregnancy. It is best to see a professional obstetrician for examination.

Abdominal pain in early pregnancy is a common physical reaction among pregnant women. It is usually physiological abdominal pain caused by pregnancy reaction. In this case, no treatment or other special treatment is required. But sometimes it is pathological abdominal pain. If a pregnant woman has abdominal pain accompanied by bleeding, she needs to be alert and seek medical attention in time.

Right side stomach pain in early pregnancy. Many pregnant women will feel pain on the right side of their abdomen in the early stages of pregnancy. What is the reason for the pain on the right side of their abdomen in the early stages of pregnancy? Is it normal? In the early stages of pregnancy, many pregnant women will feel abdominal pain, and may also have early pregnancy reactions such as nausea and vomiting. This is caused by excessive secretion of gastric acid in the early stages of pregnancy. No special treatment is required, but you must pay attention to your diet. The diet should be light and easy to digest. Generally speaking, the pain of an enlarging uterus is bearable and lasts for a dozen to twenty minutes at most. If the pain lasts for several days in a row, it is definitely abnormal. If the pain is in the lower right abdomen, it is recommended to do a blood test to see if there is inflammation.

Left side abdominal pain in early pregnancy. Unlike the abdominal pain on the right side in early pregnancy, many pregnant women also experience abdominal pain on the left side in early pregnancy. What is going on here? It may be that a small number of women experience implantation pain when the embryo implants in the uterine cavity in the early stages of pregnancy. As the uterus grows and the round ligament of the uterus is stretched, many pregnant women will feel some abdominal pain. This type of pain is mostly located on one or both sides of the uterus in the lower abdomen, and is referred pain, dull pain or lack thereof. The pain becomes more obvious when walking a long distance or changing body position. If it comes out in the left groin, it is likely that the fertilized egg is implanting.

What to do if you have stomach pain in early pregnancy

1. Ultrasonic examination. In the early stages of pregnancy, if you have abdominal pain and bleeding before the fetus is implanted, your obstetrician or gynecologist will usually perform an abdominal ultrasound on you. Because of the advanced technology nowadays, it is possible to confirm whether the embryonic sac has implanted in the center of the uterus six to seven weeks after the last menstrual period; if an ultrasound examination is performed through the vagina, the embryonic sac can be seen a week earlier. Therefore, if you have abdominal pain in the early stages of pregnancy, and the pregnancy lasts more than seven weeks, and you cannot see the embryonic sac in the uterus, and there is abnormal bleeding, you should suspect that it is an ectopic pregnancy. It is necessary to do further examination immediately to avoid the ectopic pregnancy from rupturing and causing massive internal bleeding that could endanger your life.

2. Abortion management. Reminder: Stomach pain in the early stages of pregnancy, accompanied by abnormal vaginal bleeding, and accompanied by abdominal pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen, may be a sign of miscarriage. There are two main reasons why abdominal pain in early pregnancy may lead to miscarriage. One is that the embryo itself has chromosomal or genetic abnormalities. The other reason is probably due to the mother, such as thyroid disease, diabetes, progesterone deficiency, autoimmune disease, or taking substances that are harmful to the body such as smoking, drinking, taking drugs, etc.
