Left adnexal mass in ectopic pregnancy

Left adnexal mass in ectopic pregnancy

When checking for ectopic pregnancy, targeted examinations are usually required, because only targeted examinations can show the specific location of the ectopic pregnancy, and patients generally need urine and blood tests, so that the safety of the patient can be guaranteed during surgery. Some patients may also have a left adnexal mass while having an ectopic pregnancy, so what should be done in this case?

Generally, blood tests are much more accurate than urine tests. It is recommended that you have a blood test for more accuracy. If confirmed, it is necessary to continue observation and repeat B-ultrasound until a gestational sac is found in the uterus.

If the pregnancy test result is positive and a mass is found in the left adnexal area.

You need to check with color ultrasound to see whether there is a gestational sac in the uterine cavity. If there is no gestational sac in the uterine cavity, then the probability of ectopic pregnancy in your case is relatively high.

In this case, you need to be alert to the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

If no gestational sac is found in the uterus during B-ultrasound examination, the pregnancy cannot be ruled out. It is recommended to do a blood HCG and progesterone test to assist in the diagnosis.

This situation is not necessarily an ectopic pregnancy, it may also be a cyst. It is recommended to recheck the color Doppler ultrasound for confirmation and check the blood HCG and progesterone.

It is recommended to pay attention to rest, improve nutrition, relax, ensure adequate sleep, stay away from electronic products, avoid catching cold, and avoid eating raw, cold, spicy and other irritating foods.

If the test paper shows pregnancy and the above-mentioned conditions occur in the appendages, it cannot rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

In this situation, it is recommended to first observe the condition and conduct regular ultrasound examinations to confirm whether there is a gestational sac, and then provide targeted treatment.

Do an ultrasound examination at 40 days of pregnancy to check whether it is an intrauterine pregnancy. Do not move too much during this period and observe for abdominal pain and bleeding.

After pregnancy, you need to eat more vegetables and fruits, avoid spicy and irritating foods, do not take medicine at will, ensure sleep, be in a good mood, and do a good check-up.
