How to detect ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy is a physiological phenomenon that women need to be wary of. Ectopic pregnancy is a typical manifestation of ectopic pregnancy. For women, non-uterine pregnancy will bring huge risks to their health, because the growing embryo will puncture nearby tissues, causing heavy bleeding, and seriously threatening women's lives. The best way to prevent ectopic pregnancy is to check and detect it in time. Let’s take a look at how to detect ectopic pregnancy.

Generally, ectopic pregnancy ruptures when the pregnancy is more than 40 days. If there is a dull pain in the right lower abdomen, it may be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. You can also go to the hospital for a posterior uterine fornix puncture to confirm the diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy. The pregnancy time is calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period.

1. Amenorrhea: Generally, before the miscarriage or rupture of tubal pregnancy, the symptoms and signs are not very obvious. In addition to short-term amenorrhea and pregnancy symptoms, sometimes there is bloating and pain in one side of the lower abdomen.

2. Abdominal pain: manifested as a heavy pain in the lower abdomen, a feeling of defecation, sometimes severe pain, accompanied by cold sweat, and nausea and vomiting.

3. Vaginal bleeding: If irregular vaginal bleeding occurs, it is usually spot-like, dark brown, and small in amount, not exceeding the amount of menstruation. Abdominal pain accompanied by vaginal bleeding is often a sign of fetal damage. If there is only abdominal pain but no vaginal bleeding, it is usually due to continued fetal survival or abdominal pregnancy, so you should be vigilant.

4. Syncope and shock: Acute bleeding symptoms in the abdominal cavity will cause a decrease in blood volume and severe abdominal pain. Mild cases may result in syncope, while severe cases may result in shock.

5. Other symptoms: What are the symptoms of early ectopic pregnancy? There may be symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and frequent urination.

How to deal with ectopic pregnancy

If you suspect you have an ectopic pregnancy, it is best to go to the hospital for B-ultrasound and HCG examination. One is used to determine the fetal sac, and the other is used to determine its growth rate. However, many indicators are not absolute and require clinical judgment. But our vigilance must be higher than that of doctors. If the fetal sac cannot be found in the uterus, the doctor recommends rechecking after one week. Be sure to change hospitals every two days to check HCG and B-ultrasound.
