Blood clots came out after painless abortion

Abortion surgery exists in our lives to a greater or lesser extent, and people around us may often come into contact with this surgery. Most people will choose painless abortion because it is safer and more likely to do a good job of uterine cleaning. It is slightly cleaner than ordinary abortion and causes less harm to the body. What is the reason for blood clots after painless abortion?

If the operation is performed well, the embryo, embryonic sac and decidual tissue can be removed relatively cleanly during the operation. In this way, the uterus, which has been enlarged due to pregnancy, will shrink quickly, pressing on the placental detachment surface and the open blood vessels of the surgical wound, reducing bleeding, and there will be basically no bleeding after a few days. Some patients only bleed for half a day on the day of surgery, and then the bleeding is relatively clear.

Theoretically, the bleeding time after an abortion is 7 days, but people are different from each other. In addition, medical technology has improved significantly in recent years. If the operation is done well and thoroughly, it will help the patient recover faster.

However, there is a possibility that should be mentioned: some people bleed less and for a shorter period of time after surgery, but then bleed again a few days or a week later, and the amount of blood may be as much as menstruation. In fact, this is not menstruation, but bleeding caused by the delayed withdrawal of hormones from the original pregnancy (not this happens for everyone). If it does not exceed the amount of menstrual flow, it will stop on its own within 3-5 days and no special treatment is required; but if it exceeds the amount of menstrual flow and lasts for a long time, you should go to the hospital for medical treatment.

You can take a bath after a week, but a shower is best. Pay attention to the water temperature. The weather is getting colder and your resistance is weaker after surgery. Don't catch a cold from taking a bath.

Pain on both sides of the abdomen after surgery is normal, but you should pay attention to observation. If the condition worsens or does not improve for several days, you should seek medical diagnosis in time.
