What causes uterine bleeding?

What causes uterine bleeding?

There are many reasons for uterine bleeding, and the specific reasons will only be known after the examination. Therefore, you cannot use drugs indiscriminately at home, otherwise it will only make your physical condition worse. Especially during pregnancy, you need to pay special attention. This may have a very bad impact on the fetus in your belly, and may even cause miscarriage.

1. Luteal insufficiency: Follicles develop and ovulate during the menstrual cycle, but insufficient progesterone secretion during the luteal phase or premature luteal recession leads to poor endometrial secretion.

2. Incomplete endometrial shedding means that due to incomplete atrophy of the corpus luteum, estrogen and progesterone cannot drop rapidly. The endometrium cannot shed on schedule due to the imbalance of hormone levels and presents irregular shedding, which prolongs the bleeding period and increases the blood volume. It is also called incomplete atrophy of the corpus luteum.

3. Prolonged endometrial repair. After the endometrium is exfoliated during menstruation, the new follicles in the next cycle develop slowly or poorly, and the estrogen secreted is insufficient, so that the endometrium cannot regenerate and repair as scheduled, and the menstruation is prolonged.

4. Ovulation bleeding occurs due to a temporary drop in hormones during ovulation, which causes the endometrium to lose hormonal support and partial shedding of the endometrium, leading to withdrawal bleeding. When estrogen is secreted in sufficient amounts, the endometrium is repaired and the bleeding stops.

1. Irregular uterine bleeding with varying amounts of blood, or a sudden increase in the amount of blood. For those who have had amenorrhea for a long time, the amount of bleeding is heavy and may last for several months. The cycle is shorter than 21 days, sometimes flowing and sometimes stopping.

2. Physical examination shows normal genitalia, or symmetrical and slightly enlarged ovaries on both sides.

3. The basal body temperature is monophasic.

4. Symptoms of anemia Excessive blood loss can cause anemia. In severe cases, symptoms such as dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue, edema, and loss of appetite may occur.

5. Symptoms of excessive hormone secretion include breast pain, lower abdominal distension, emotional agitation, etc.

Signs

1 Oligomenorrhea: Irregular uterine bleeding with a cycle of ≥ 40 days, often accompanied by oligomenorrhea.

4. Irregular menstruation: refers to irregular menstrual cycles and little menstrual flow.

5. Irregular menorrhagia: refers to irregular menstrual cycle accompanied by excessive menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual period.

6. Oligomenorrhea: refers to a period with regular menstrual cycle but only decreased menstrual volume.
