Stomach pain is very common, and the first thing people think of is the digestive system, such as an upset stomach, acute gastroenteritis, etc. If you are a woman, you must rule out gynecological emergencies if you have the following 4 types of abdominal pain. If misdiagnosed, it may even be fatal:

Ectopic pregnancy. Among the acute abdominal pain caused by gynecological problems, ectopic pregnancy ranks first. This kind of abdominal pain usually occurs around 6-8 weeks after menstruation. This type of stomach pain usually occurs on one side of the lower abdomen, causing nausea, cold sweats, and a feeling of falling in the anus.

Ovarian tumor pedicle torsion. This type of abdominal pain is caused by cysts growing in the ovaries. The entire ovary becomes larger, and there is a "pedicle" connecting the ovary and the pelvic cavity, like the "handle" of a pear hanging on a tree. If there is a sudden change in posture or the abdomen is impacted by external force, the pedicle will twist because of a tumor in the ovary and it becomes heavier. The blood flow will be obstructed at the same time, causing ischemia or even rupture and secondary infection. This type of abdominal pain is mostly sudden pain in the lower abdomen on one side and is related to sudden changes in posture.

Pelvic inflammatory disease. If it is an acute inflammation, the abdominal pain will be acute, occurring suddenly and relatively severe, and most of the time it is persistent pain in the lower abdomen on both sides.

Corpus luteum rupture. The corpus luteum is the tissue that remains in the follicle after the follicle matures and ovulates. It is called the "corpus luteum" because it contains yellow lipids. Women aged 14 to 30 are at a high risk of corpus luteum rupture. They often experience sudden severe lower abdominal pain about a week after the middle of their menstrual period, and it is more common on the right side. At the same time, they have no history of amenorrhea and their urine HCG test is negative. At this time, it is best to rule out the possibility of corpus luteum rupture.

Perhaps many female friends think that stomach pain is very common and generally should be ignored. This idea is absolutely wrong. If a woman suddenly has a stomachache, she must take it seriously because it is very likely a sign of certain diseases. Moreover, if the best treatment time is missed for these diseases, they are very likely to be fatal, so remember this.
