Is back pain a postpartum disease?

We all know that mothers should do a good job of physical recovery during the confinement period, especially avoid colds and dietary problems. If you encounter colds during the confinement period, it can easily cause back pain and form postpartum disease. I hope that mothers can pay attention to this, not go out during the confinement period, and pay attention to keeping warm and eat more protein-rich foods, which will help the body recover quickly.

Is back pain 38 days after delivery a confinement disease?

Some mothers take care of their babies alone during the confinement period, often changing diapers and washing clothes by themselves. After a long time, they are inevitably overworked and their backs ache so much that they cannot stand up straight. In addition, washing your hair and clothes too early during the confinement period will cause your body to catch a cold, and you will often find pain in your finger joints after the confinement period. This is the postpartum disease, the most common of which are joint pain and back pain. It is recommended that expectant mothers should pay more attention to rest during the confinement period, avoid doing housework too early, and supplement more calcium nutrition.

Causes of postpartum disease

Postpartum sickness is generally caused by endocrine changes after delivery, which reduce the elasticity and strength of muscles and tendons throughout the body, weaken the tension of joint capsules and ligaments near the joints, and make the joints loose. In this case, if the mother does too much housework too early or holds the baby too much, it will increase the burden on the joints, tendons and ligaments, and easily cause strain pain in the wrists, finger joints and other parts.

1. Feel the cold

The mother's body, weakened by childbirth, was affected by the cold, which spread from the lower abdomen to the whole body. During childbirth, pregnant women consume a lot of physical energy, the birth canal bleeds, and the skin, tendons and bones are open, causing the blood vessels and meridians in the body to become weak. If health care is not in place after childbirth, external pathogens will take advantage of the opportunity to invade the muscles, joints, etc. As they recover after childbirth, the skin, tendons and bones are closed, wrapping the rheumatic and cold evils in the body, and postpartum rheumatism is thus formed.

2. Joint hypermobility

Although the mother does not over-move her joints before delivery, after delivery, if the synovial fluid in the synovial sac of the joint is poor, she may experience symptoms such as numbness in the wrists if she is slightly tired. This is caused by excessive blood loss after childbirth, or malnutrition and poor blood circulation.

"Postpartum wind", also known as confinement disease, usually shows symptoms a few days or weeks after delivery, but it can also lurk in the body for several years, more than ten years, or even decades, and become ill as the physical condition weakens.

Is back pain 38 days after delivery a postpartum disease? Symptoms of postpartum disease include back pain, but not all back pain is a postpartum disease. If it is not serious, you can slowly observe whether it gets better. During the confinement period, you should not get tired or drink cold water. You should pay attention to keeping warm and avoid doing overly tiring housework. The husband should learn to understand and care for his wife.
