What are the symptoms of perineal hemangioma?

Sometimes women will have hemangiomas in the perineum, and they will generally experience physical discomfort. If it is not treated in time, it will be very detrimental to the physical condition. Therefore, you must pay attention to whether you have a perineal hemangioma in normal times. So what are the symptoms of perineal hemangioma at this time?

1. Capillary hemangioma is also known as strawberry hemangioma, simple hemangioma or strawberry nevus. It looks like a strawberry, with raised, red, and soft texture. The tumors range in size from a few millimeters to several centimeters in diameter. This type of hemangioma may be present at birth or appear a few weeks after birth. The tumor grows rapidly in the first few months and can increase to several centimeters in size, but tends to regress naturally after a few years. The lesions usually appear as one or several bright red lobed masses with an uneven strawberry-like surface, a soft texture, and are not easy to fade when pressed. This type of tumor may be complicated by cavernous hemangioma in the deep part.

2. Cavernous hemangioma is generally asymptomatic. Larger ones may cause swelling of the vulva and bleeding of the surface skin due to ulceration. If ulcerated, pain and heavy bleeding may occur. If the tumor grows rapidly and ulcers, bleeds and becomes infected, it should be treated actively. Cavernous hemangiomas usually appear several months after birth and may gradually increase in size and grow rapidly. They may become static, degenerate, or disappear at around 2 years of age. In adults, the disease grows slowly and rarely regresses spontaneously. The tumor is dark purple with clear boundaries. It fades when pressed and recovers after relaxation. The tumor is irregular in shape, with normal skin on the surface. The size of the tumor varies, ranging from a few square millimeters to several square centimeters. It can extend into the vagina and bulge under the vaginal mucosa.

These are the symptoms of perineal hemangioma, so you must be careful and if these problems occur, it is better to seek timely treatment, and you also need to pay attention to your daily life and maintain a good living condition. This will be more beneficial to the body's recovery.
