What to do if you have a breast hemangioma

What to do if you have a breast hemangioma

Breasts are very important organs. They are not only a secondary sexual characteristic of women, but also control the body curves of women. No woman wants her breasts to be sick, but there are more and more breast diseases, such as mastitis, breast cysts, and breast hemangiomas. There are many types of these diseases, which are divided into different categories. Different treatment plans should be selected according to the different types of the disease.

Disease classification

Breast hemangioma is also called breast hemangioma. Its classification:

1. Cavernous hemangioma: Breast hemangioma is rare, mostly cavernous, and is seen in young and middle-aged women.

2. Racemose hemangioma: The tumor is nodular, cord-like or lobed.

Symptoms

The mass is round, sometimes lobed, with smooth edges, and may form focal calcification or ossification. When a hemangioma is formed, a thin, translucent capsule may be seen. It is difficult to distinguish from other benign breast tumors. Clinically, there are changes in the local skin color of the breast, which can be considered as a possible cause.

Treatment

Breast hemangioma is usually treated with surgery, but it is difficult to maintain the integrity and lactation function of the breast, and the recurrence rate is high. In recent years, HB intravascular therapy device has been used for treatment, with relatively ideal results. However, it is easy to relapse in the later stage, so it is better to take some Chinese medicine to prevent it after surgery.

1. For mixed hemangiomas, treat cavernous hemangiomas first, and then treat capillary hemangiomas 3 months later. 1. Capillary hemangioma is composed of many small and dense capillaries with dilated walls intertwined together. Most of them are discovered after birth. At first, they are moles, red or purple, and gradually expand around them. They are generally flat or slightly higher than the skin. There are also cases where the hemangioma is distributed in large patches on the skin of the neck at birth. It is red at first, and then as the hemangioma grows, the color deepens to purple-red with clear boundaries and fades when pressed. As age increases, hemangiomas gradually increase in size, sometimes even extending to cover most of the skin on one breast.

2. Cavernous hemangioma is composed of many dilated capillary cavities in the shape of blood sinusoids. The blood sinusoids vary in size and shape and are surrounded by fibrous connective tissue on the outside, like a sponge. It can occur in any part of the neck, mostly located in the subcutaneous tissue, and appear as nodular tumors that protrude above the skin. They are mostly single, but there are also multiple or nodular fusions with irregular shapes. They are soft to the touch and have unclear boundaries. When the lesions are shallow, the skin is purple-blue, and when the lesions are deep, the skin color is normal. The tumor shrinks when pressed, and the mass returns to its original shape after the pressure is released. The postural test is positive. The tumor grows as the child grows, invading surrounding tissues, muscles, and nerves, often causing neck pain, soreness, worsening pain when turning the head, and weakness in the head and neck muscles.
