Typical symptoms of menopause in women

Once women reach the age of 45, they are likely to enter menopause. Traditionally, menopause refers to the period of female menopause, during which women's physical and mental health will undergo major changes, such as abnormal menstruation, mood swings, and irritability. These are all typical menopausal symptoms. So what other typical symptoms do menopausal women have? How to overcome or relieve menopausal symptoms?

There are 6 symptoms of menopause

1. Abnormal emotions

As women enter menopause, their ovarian function gradually declines and their estrogen levels drop sharply, which can affect and stimulate blood vessels and nerves, causing women to have abnormal and unstable emotions, become inexplicably irritable, easily anxious or delusional, and even panic or suspicious.

2. Palpitations and insomnia

Menopausal women will have symptoms of palpitations and insomnia, which manifest as poor sleep quality at night, difficulty falling asleep or frequent dreams, resulting in lack of energy during the day. If not adjusted in time, it will cause symptoms of neurasthenia and even develop into depression.

3. Hot flashes and sweating

The hormones in menopausal women fluctuate greatly, which can cause abnormal dilation and contraction of blood vessels, manifesting as flushing of the face and neck. Excessive heat dissipation leads to fever and frequent sweating. These symptoms of hot flashes and sweating usually last for a long time and should be taken seriously.

4. Abnormal menstruation

The decline of female ovarian function will cause changes in hormone levels in the body in a short period of time, which will in turn affect the normal ovulation function of the ovaries, causing abnormal menstrual symptoms such as prolonged menstruation, continuous menstrual bleeding, and reduced menstrual flow, until finally there is no menstruation at all.

5. Osteoporosis

The sudden change of hormones in menopausal women will aggravate the loss of bone calcium, causing women to suffer from joint and muscle pain, osteoporosis and other symptoms.

6. Appearance changes

The decline in estrogen levels in women's bodies will affect endocrine stability, causing their skin to become dry and dull, and the fat under the skin to begin to shrink and gradually age. Due to abnormal fat metabolism, they may also suffer from obesity or sagging breasts.
