Is yellow urine in women a sign of kidney disease?

Everyone knows that human urine and human kidneys are inseparable. When there is something wrong with our urine, it means that our kidneys may also be abnormal. Therefore, many people will first associate yellow urine with their kidneys, especially for women. If the urine turns yellow, it will have a great impact on them. So, does yellow urine in women mean kidney disease?

There are four indicators to judge the health of urine

Experts say that to judge whether a person's urination is healthy, it means that urination is effortless, the person can hold his urine, and the urine is light yellow and transparent. If the following four symptoms appear for a long time, you should pay attention to health problems.

1. Frequent urination and polyuria

If the frequency of urination exceeds 8 times and is not caused by drinking too much water, it is called frequent urination. Urology expert Yang Yong said: "If the frequency of urination increases but the amount of urine each time decreases, it may be that the bladder's urine storage function decreases. If the frequency of urination increases but the amount of urine each time does not decrease, it is polyuria, which may be a problem with the body's metabolic function, such as diabetes." If frequent urination is accompanied by discomfort such as urgency and pain when urinating, you should be alert to whether you have a urinary tract infection.

2. Painful urination

It refers to pain or burning sensation in the suprapubic area, perineum and urethra when urinating.

3. Urinating time becomes longer and continuity is poor

Significantly longer urination time, poor continuity, a dripping feeling, difficulty urinating, weak urine, and increased frequency of nocturnal urination in middle-aged and elderly men are all signs of prostate disease.

4. Urine is foamy and has a strange smell

When urinating, if you find that there is more foam in the toilet, especially the first urine in the morning, it may be caused by kidney disease. You should go to the hospital for a routine urine test to see if there is more protein in the urine. If your urine smells like rotten apple, it could be a sign of diabetes.

If these four conditions occur at the same time, it is most likely urethritis. These symptoms are common in many urinary system diseases and should be treated with caution, especially if combined with other conditions such as hematuria, polydipsia, thin urine stream, etc. You should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible.

Should women use paper to wipe after urinating?

Due to the special physiological characteristics of women, the anus, vagina and urethra are concentrated and have different excretion functions. Infection may occur if not cleaned properly. According to statistics from the World Health Organization, unclean lower body causes about 50%-60% of female urinary and reproductive tract inflammation, and the most effective way to prevent it is proper cleaning.

The skin of the female private parts has deeper and more wrinkles. It must be cleaned promptly after each urination and defecation to avoid irritating the skin, causing local skin itching, or aggravating hemorrhoids. Experts remind women that, especially after urinating, if they do not wipe dry in time, the residual urine will make the underwear very damp, providing a "suitable" breeding environment for various bacteria, thereby increasing the risk of infection of the fragile urinary tract and reproductive system. In addition, be sure to wipe from front to back.

In addition, there is a lot of knowledge in choosing the material of paper to wipe the private parts. Experts believe that wet wipes are indeed more helpful in removing dirt and are suitable for wiping the anus after defecation, but it is not recommended to wipe the urethra. Nowadays, many wet wipes are added with drugs or antiseptic chemical ingredients, which will firstly destroy the natural ecology of the vagina; secondly, after wiping with wet wipes, there will still be the problem of moisture near the urethra, which is far less safe than ordinary toilet paper.
