What to do if ringworm appears on face during pregnancy

For pregnant women, the thing they fear most is the occurrence of various diseases during pregnancy. Because pregnant women cannot take any medicine at random even if they are sick, as these medicines will have a great impact on the baby in the belly. However, many women will experience ringworm on their faces during pregnancy, and this type of ringworm is usually very itchy. What methods should pregnant women take to solve the problem of ringworm on their faces?

Ringworm on the skin of pregnant women can be divided into two types: one is neurodermatitis, and the other is pregnancy-specific skin disease. The relevant explanations are given below.

1. Neurodermatitis is related to mental stress. Such as work pressure, mental stress, irregular life, excessive fatigue and sun exposure. The condition often worsens under conditions of excessive sweating, drinking, itching and friction.

In the initial stage of the disease, the disease only manifests as skin itching without rash. After frequent itching or friction, papules will appear. They are polygonal and scattered. After a while, the papules gradually increase in number and densely fuse to form thickened skin, which are typical patches of lichenoid lesions. There are 6 ways to prevent and treat this disease:

1. Live a regular and orderly life, do not smoke, drink less, and avoid eating irritating and spicy foods. Do not use scratching, rubbing or hot water to relieve itching.

2. When there are symptoms of neurasthenia and severe itching, you can use some sedatives and antihistamines, such as cephalosporin, cyproheptadine, ketotifen, etc.

3. Blockade therapy is sometimes more effective, such as using corticosteroids or diphenhydramine for local blockade, and angelica liquid for acupoint blockade.

4. Topical preparations, such as corticosteroid ointments or creams such as Piyanping Cream, Fule Cream, and Pikang Cream; in addition, corticosteroid tinctures and aqueous solutions such as Piyanning Tincture, Fuershu Tincture, and Lefu Liquid can be used; 5% to 10% black bean distillate ointment, pine distillate ointment, etc. can also be used.

5. Physical therapy, such as local freezing with liquid nitrogen or mineral bath treatment, can achieve certain therapeutic effects.

6. Depending on the symptoms, you can also take Chinese medicine or acupuncture therapy, both of which have good therapeutic effects.

The above will not affect the fetus, and urea ointment can be used externally for treatment.
