Artificial cycle blastocyst transfer process

Artificial cycle blastocyst transfer process

At present in China, doctors who do IVF all choose frozen embryo transplantation. However, most of the infertile families who choose to do IVF frozen embryo transplantation do not know the steps of artificial cycle frozen embryo transplantation, and do not know how to improve the success rate of IVF. First of all, the IVF experts of Yizhujuyu suggest that artificial cycle frozen embryo transplantation is not necessarily possible for infertile patients. Therefore, unsatisfactory endometrial conditions, high progesterone levels in the body, and the risk of uterine ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome are all reasons for the need to transplant frozen embryos. In fact, the following 4 types of people are suitable for artificial cycle blastocyst transplantation:

1. The endometrium is found to be in poor condition during the fresh cycle;

2. The risk of OHSS (uterine and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome) increases;

3. The rate of embryonic development is too slow, especially when genetic assessment is required;

4. Previous experience of unsuccessful fresh embryo transplantation.

2. Steps of artificial cycle blastocyst transfer

The first day of menstrual period is the day when the red spot appears:

From the second day to the thirteenth day, preparation for medication: According to personal circumstances, the doctor will inform you of the medication plan in advance. Generally, you can use patches or suppositories to supplement estrogen starting from the second day of menstruation.

Check-up on the 14th and 15th days: Go to the hospital outpatient department to check the status of the endometrium and growth hormone, and take medicine or injection again. Various regulations should be considered before transplanting.

Day 17: Transfer of early embryos: On the morning of the day of transfer, the laboratory doctor will thaw the test tube embryos and incubate them with laser as needed. The status of the test tube embryos will be informed again during the transfer.

The blastocyst is transferred on Sunday of the second week: after the test tube transfer, progesterone and estrogen supplementation is continued according to the patient's female hormones.

Test pregnancy one month later: Test pregnancy on the tenth day after the test tube transplant. If pregnant, this will be regarded as the beginning of the 28th day of pregnancy.

Follow-up blood tests and B-ultrasound: measure blood index values 7 days after pregnancy (fifth week of pregnancy) to confirm that HCG growth is normal, progesterone level and estrogen index values are within the standard. If the former is abnormal, the possibility of fetal arrest should be considered. If the latter is abnormal, medication should be used to nourish the fetus. After three weeks of pregnancy, a B-ultrasound test is performed to confirm whether the fetus is alive and to proceed with the normal IVF preparation period.
