The causes of perineal ulcers are these three

As we all know, perineal ulcers are very harmful to human reproductive health. Therefore, for the sake of people's health, we must understand the causes of perineal ulcers and prevent them. In fact, there are three causes of perineal ulcers, the most common of which is sexually transmitted diseases.

1. Sexually transmitted diseases: Many sexually transmitted diseases will cause vulvar ulcers during the course of the disease, which is also the most common cause of vulvar ulcers.

2. Skin diseases: The following skin diseases may also cause vulvar ulcers.

Fixed drug eruption: The skin lesions may be painful erythema, blisters, erosions or ulcers, often single or multiple. There is a clear history of medication use, and the lesions occur at the same site after each medication. They are more common at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes such as the lips, glans penis, and anus. Similar lesions may also occur in other parts of the body. Behcet's syndrome: Also known as eye-mouth-genital syndrome. In addition to oral ulcers, eye damage, skin symptoms, joint symptoms, vasculitis and nervous system lesions, vulvar ulcers are also one of the characteristic symptoms of this disease. It is often a painful ulcer, and the pain is more obvious in the early stage. The ulcer heals in about 1 to 3 weeks, and scars may be left. The condition is prone to recurrence and can last for years or decades.

Acute vulvar ulcer: mostly occurs in young women. The onset is sudden, starting with vulvar ulcers, which are prone to occur on the inner side of the labia majora and minora and the vestibular mucosa. The ulcers range from rice-sized to 1-2 cm. In severe cases, the ulcer area is large, the lesion is deep, the surface is covered with necrotic membrane-like substances, and the local pain is obvious. The course of the disease is generally 3-4 weeks, and scars are left after healing.

Acute eczema: It can occur in the scrotum, vulva, anus and other parts. The rash is mostly dense millet-sized papules, papulovesicles or small blisters, with red base and intense itching. Due to factors such as scratching, it is easy to form small erosions or ulcers. If not treated in time, it is easy to develop into subacute, chronic eczema or secondary infection.

3. Non-specific damage: Ulcers may also occur in the skin and mucous membrane of the vulva due to scratching, anal sex, masturbation or other external forces. Such ulcers are generally superficial and painful. If there is no secondary infection, they usually heal within a week. Since there are many causes of vulvar ulcers, it is necessary to carefully observe the appearance, medical history, course of disease and disease evolution, and combine smears, culture, hematological examinations and systemic examinations of ulcer surface secretions. For vulvar ulcers that have not been cured for a long time, living tissue should be taken from the lesion for pathological examination to make a clear diagnosis. After suffering from vulvar ulcers, patients should go to the hospital for treatment in time, find out the cause as soon as possible, and receive targeted treatment under the guidance of a doctor. Do not use drugs indiscriminately, so as not to bring difficulties to diagnosis and treatment, delay the disease and cause irreversible consequences. At the same time, friction of the skin lesions should be reduced as much as possible, and the vulva should be kept clean and dry. After each cleaning of the vulva, the moisture should be wiped off. Some patients with severe symptoms should also rest in bed and change the dressing regularly to facilitate the healing of skin lesions.
